「We loved staying in this hotel with its unique history and beautiful decor. It is a special place in a wonderful location and we had fabulous views from our balcony. The walk to Morcote took under 30 minutes with lovely views but you need to wear trainers as the path is uneven. We also enjoyed walking to the castle through the vineyards and exploring lake Lugano by bus and boat. We tended to get Uber taxi’s back up to to hotel as it was a steep climb ( cost 18CHF) 」
「Morcote is a world on its own - and the appartment is in the middle of it all with beautiful views of the lake and the passing cyclists and cars. Accommodation in Morcote is hard to find but well worth the effort. Spend time meandering up to the enchanting cemetery, or through the quaint narrow alleyways, or join the locals for an espresso and cornetto. Early mornings are magic, before everyone else wakes up.」
「I would highly recommend the Hotel San Giuseppe. It is a must stay if you are traveling to Cernobbio Italy. It is a family owned and operated hotel which is beautifully maintained and decorated. The owners and their children are all pleasant, friendly and eager to assist which has created a welcoming atmosphere to all guests.
