Staying in a parador is always a treat and this one added an extra special experience looking out from our balcony and walking on the path through by a centuries old castle. Add to this the wonderful staff who met all of our needs to make this an unforgettable stay. We are looking forward to a return stay in the near future!"

"This was an unusual place to stay overnight on our way further South in Spain. The location was accurately given by both Google Maps and Waze. You have to trust them as the approach looks a bit unlikely as you get nearer. May be tricky if arriving in the dark. We were a bit nervous about the entry process using links on our phones but it was all very easy in practice. Just be sure to have mobile signal & power in your battery. Hotel public areas are very nice but our room was very tired, although very clean and spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast ok if you just like versions of bread, nothing much else on offer. "

"Absolutely loved this hotel. It’s simple, nothing fancy, but charming. Rustic and surrounded by large olive gardens; it made us feel like grandpa’s farm. We’ve been in many hotels; some 5 stars and my son said this one has been the most beautiful hotel we have been. The sunrise here is stunning, the view and the feeling is indescribable!! Very clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly!! Hardly recommend it! Worth the driving."
