We had an amazing nights stay. The hotel is so unique, a real sanctuary! Fantastic views of Vesuvius and also the sea from breakfast. The rooms are decorated in keeping with the history of the building but with a modern and inventive twist. The breakfast was very nice too. But to top all of this, was the most helpful and friendly service from Fabio, which really made our stay.

This hotel was a real find. The hotel & grounds were sensitively restored & this gave it a unique atmosphere. Everyone was friendly, welcoming & happily gave us advise about the area & suggested restaurants. We would not hesitate & re-book, if we visit this area again!

Our stay was truly wonderful! The hospitality was superb, and the room was unique and original with view to Vesuve and well placed to visit Pompei and Napoli. Pompeii trip

This place is a hidden gem. It’s located just about 10 minutes from Pompeii and close to Naples. It’s located on a hill with a beautiful view of the ocean. Breakfast is included and Antonio is an excellent host. Definitely highly recommended. 😀

We were delighted by our stay at Villa De Cillis Carafa. This villa is beautifully restored in incredible detail. The rooms are large, comfortable and very clean. The weather was quite hot during our visit but our room was very cool with effective air conditioning. The location is remarkable, with an excellent view of Mt. Vesuvius and pleasant grounds including lemon trees. The staff were also top notch: extremely knowledgeable about the history of the property and the area.

A must stay

The Villa is beautiful, tastefully restored and decorated with great care. It is obvious that the owners and staff love what they do and want your stay to be an experience to remember. The grounds are peaceful and gorgeous. I would suggest a few days here to really soak in the whole thing. We were there with our three teenage boys and even they were impressed and appreciated all of the special touches.

Charming Villa that two young men are developing from their family’s generations old Villa. Each room is unique and beautifully decorated with fun Italian antique pieces. Lovely breakfast. Antonio was very attentive and provided local tips as well as great restaurant suggestions. We were very comfortable here. Great place to tour Pompeii, Herculaneum, or look for coral from!

Our stay at the Villa De Cillis Carafa was one of the highlights of our trip. We had the most beautiful room with French doors opening out to a private terrace that had views of the sea in the distance. I felt like royalty! The Villa is owned and operated by the most gracious family that even includes a sweet, fluffy, white dog. Breakfasts were delicious! We didn't have a car which made life a little more difficult for us but Antonio went above and beyond to help us arrange transportation.

Excellent stay, highly recommend!

A beautiful villa with excellent service from Antonio and his team. You can tell a lot of effort has been put into the rooms - beautiful decor and comfortable amenities such as air condition and ergonomic pillows. Also a great place to stay at if you arrive by car as it is free parking within a gated area. We stayed for 4 nights, spent two days relaxing at the beaches found along the way to Vico Equense, was about a 30 min drive. Antonio also very kindly helped us book a guided boat tour along the Amalfi coast with shuttle services picking you up and dropping you off directly at the villa.

Convenient to Naples airport. We arrived late and spent just a few hours at the villa. But the staff was very helpful in checking us in and out on the phone and giving us all instructions how to find our room. Only one thing to improve was the sink was not draining . But it was just a minor hiccup in an overall good experience.

Hidden gem of absolute perfection.

We travelled through Italy for 9 days and ended our stay here for 2 nights. It was our favorite place of all that we stayed. We are a family of 6, large teenagers, reserved 2 rooms with 4 king sized beds. We had more than enough space. It was fantastic and beautiful! Felt like true Italian villa. The host was top notch with all the help, and information and confusion we had outside of the place; far exceeded services everywhere else. It is a beautiful hidden gem, if you are wanting a retreat away from the busy in a sleepytown. Which is exactly how we wanted to end our trip. I will for sure come back to visit and stay.
