The simera wine tasting with lunch was ridiculously great value. Topped off by a really impressive sunset over the vines, it was like they arranged everything. We went very early in the season so we practically had the Scuderie to ourselves, and there wasn’t a wedding in the castle so it was totally peaceful. Beautiful place that makes beautiful wine!」

The food was delicious too. The pools were nice but we felt like we were pretty loud and didn’t want to disturb the more zen like environment- but that’s on us for having kids! We didn’t go to the beach since we only stayed one night, but it seems nice. Overall a really nice place in a quaint beach town.」

Very spacious although it doesn’t have much capacity regarding rooms or suites. The location is excellent if you are using a rental car. On car the old city is only 5 to 8 minutes away. 「Hotel Hermitage was a pleasant stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was decently spacious. Parking was easy-on site. The property was generally well kept and clean. The bathroom I had appeared to be relatively newly renovated, however it did need a new shower head as a lot of the rubber ends where the water comes out had calcified so the water pressure wasn't very good, or sprayed out in all sorts of directions.
