「What a gem of a find! Lovely hotel, recently refurbished from derelict and oh my what a wonderful job they have done! Decor is bright and clean. Amazing view of the bay from the huge lounge window. Single room was clean and comfortable with en-suite bath, shower and toilet. A working TV with all the channels which was unusual in my experience and much welcomed. 「james very friendly, check in was very fast and clear, and provided breakfast ,room was very clean and bed very comfortable, bathroom looked new and like have been refurbished, room furnished with the ingenuity of the owner, it’s great location to stay ,few minutes walk to near the sea , highly recommend staying here. and very quiet at night!」

「The unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off £15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizens」

「We booked a family suite which is lovely - very modern and tastefully decorated. A lovely tea/coffee area and bottles of water weee supplied. Both bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto outside area. The views are amazing and it is just so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing - THE BEST bacon!! Would highly recommend this place - ideal for walkers. 」
