Easy check in and check out process. Rooms are incredibly quiet especially for such a central location. Curtains are not blackouts, if that’s something you’re looking for. Excellent value for the price and location.

The staffs were very kind, welcoming, friendly. The price are so cheap. I can recommend for short stay here. One sad point was that the kicthen room was so dirty because any students didn’t use properly…?

Student dorm room with bed, desk, (nasty) desk chair, with free access to washroom, showers, and kitchen. Other guests were respectful and friendly. Bikeshare bikes available right outside the building. Easy to walk to streetcar and busses - public transportation.
Would consider staying again. Thanks from Iowa, USA.
Clean, quiet, comfortable, and easy to access.
Was not sure what to expect, given that it is a university residence, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Only feedback is that I would have liked the option to have towels/linens changed or the room cleaned at some point (perhaps halfway) for a 5 day stay.
Overall good value and would happily return.
The staff were cordial and helpful. The facility was clean and functional as you might expect of a university residence. Just the basics but when the basics are all you require then this option is an excellent one. Would happily use it again whenever the occasion arises.

Disliked: Cleanliness
From outside the rooms the building looks good. But the bathrooms were dirty, the bedroom was dirty (vacuuming would have clearly been needed). There were light-filtering blinds but they still let light through. All doors auto-shut with a bang. No temperature control and it was too warm for my taste. The bed linens were clean and smelled good, however.
This is a quiet university dorm. Expect dorm like facilities. Perfect if you are just looking for a place to sleep safely and quietly. Near streetcar stations and major shopping locations. Super friendly staff!
The room was perfect for my needs, but the showers were not so clean and the kitchen was terrible (mostly because other residents would not clean up properly, but part of the issue is also that not enough is provided for people to cook and clean).
They put me in the WRONG building. I specifically booked 45 Willcocks, and they put me in 40 Willcocks. Their excuse was “we’re fully booked”. So?? I booked this over a month ago, you need to ensure there is availability prior to booking. Also, I got a migraine because three mornings in a row I woke up to hammering at 6am, and drilling at 7am. The drilling continued throughout the day and disturbed my work. No one mentioned construction at the time of booking. They weren’t able to switch rooms. Unbelievable. Noisy neighbours and noisy other tenants, lots of children/groups. Avoid this place at all costs.
Just a heads-up: this is a very bare-bones accommodation. The room you get may not resemble the photos — at all. The one I stayed in was quite dated and worn (I believe the building is from the 1960s? Not the new accomodation as advertised here). The mattress was hard and uncomfortable, the bedding was thin and questionably clean, and the floor was just dirty linoleum. To top it off, the room had an incessantly loud AC unit I couldn't turn off, which droned on all night. Adding to that, the room doors are extremely heavy and slam loudly unless closed gently. I was woken up multiple times during the night by people coming and going, letting their doors slam shut in the hallway. The shared washrooms were relatively clean, though a couple of the bathroom stalls were out of order. That said, there are a few perks: it's centrally located to downtown, with easy access to transit and the university — and of course, the price. I'm just glad I wasn't there for more than one night. Hopefully, the students find the accommodations more comfortable when they're staying there during the school year!
