"We had the most amazing time at Shaman Village. The igloo was beautiful, spotless and had everything we needed. We were lucky to see the northern lights and it was the perfect end to our trip. The owners were very kind and helpful. Shaman village is a small family run place in the forest, rich in history. If you get a chance, book a tour with the owner, it was also a great experience. I would recommend to anyone and I hope we can come back one day. What a wonderful experience we had! "

"Everything was wonderful. Staff were so good and welcoming. We had buffet from the log restaurant, really good food and service. Absolutely loved our stay. We got to visit the Arctic snow hotel which was also good. We stayed in the igloo for 2 nights. No complaints at all."

"The services are good . Only thing is a bit far away from the city and the Santa Claus village which makes it atleast $160 round trip each time each day . Breakfast is good . "

"The hotel was good in an isolated location. Nice place for kids. The swimming pool was under maintenance on the first 2 days. After we found out the pool was cold. We only paid for breakfast but it was far from any local restaurant so we ate at the hotel. Very expensive and not good. "

"The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly from when we first dropped our bags off to when we left. our flight got cancelled out of rovaniemi and the staff were accommodating and let us store our luggage in the room and stay on the lobby whilst we waited. Would recommend to anyone coming to rovaniemi! "
