「Great hotel, we stayed for two nights. We ate at Saffron and also stopped for tea and cake at the Baking Company which was really nice. The breakfast was also really good, particularly the eggs which were made to order. We couldn’t decide between staying here or at the Oberoi but glad we chose the JW Marriott as it was more modern and offered greater facilities. 「Worst place to stay. The rooms were filthy, poorly maintained, and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I arrived around 10:30 PM, there were several men loitering near the entrance who made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Many occupants appeared to be intoxicated, smoking, or under the influence of drugs. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially for solo or female travelers.」
