"Location was excellent - between the historic and the modern shopping areas. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Room was comfortable and well stocked with bottled water. Bathroom was large and shower was good."

The rooms ( I had to be moved as I extended my stay) were so comfortable- had the right space, were so clean, and the lighting was adequate (not always so in hotels in Turkey, I find). The location of the hotel is ideal, with the river right outside the window. Breakfast was good. The staff were always pleasant and ready to help; even taking me to the bus terminal when I left!! "I did not read the history of the hotel but it seems it’s old historical building. Staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was good, it include traditional Turkish breakfast platter and eggs prepared to your like, everything was fresh and tasted good. "
