"Overall not a bad stay, i got the open air bath room. Certain fixtures in the room were very worn and could use repairing. The bath on the patio was the highlight but it had a large leak from below causing the water to drain out faster than it could fill it. Breakfast was great and they had tatami tables. Overall not bad for the money but could be better"

"施設の古さは否めないけれども、それを感じさせないくらい、掃除が行き届いていました。そして、スタッフの方がにこやかに声をかけてくださり、気持ちの良い宿です。バイキングもスタッフの方々が細かな心配り、気配りで汚れたら綺麗にしたり、トングやスプーンなど交換したりしていて、安心して気持ちよく、食べることができました。 料理長も挨拶に来てくださり、感激しました。 湯上がりに飲み物、アルコールが飲み放題。天気が悪かったが、その分、早く宿に行き、 ゆっくりと過ごすことができました。 また、ぜひ訪れたい宿です。"

"We had an amazing time here, everyone was SO friendly. The onsen was lovely and the rooms had everything we needed. The staff were really lovely and took time to show us the best bits about town, they made sure we saw the fireflies and the mechanical clock, plus great places to eat. Friendly not flashy."

"It is an older Buddhist temple and feels wonderful to be in a place with such character and history. The meals (all are vegetarian in accordance with Buddhist tradition) are a delicious delight. This is from one who is not a vegetarian! The service is personal and sincerely caring. I would recommend visiting Daisen and staying there. "
