Sheets were dirty. Rooms weren’t cleaned daily. . There was a power cut and they don’t have a generator so no electricity or running water (hot or cold) for 12 hours or so. Disappointing.

I am terribly disappointed. There was no WiFi throughout my stay as they promised on the website. No toiletries and the main light was not working. A guy can to fix it and the electricity was tripped. Aircon and fan are not working. I had to sleep in the Warmth. On the second night, the room was not cleaned and tided up. Aircon and light were still not fixed. We were moved to another room after complaining. The room is run down and needs an uplift. The good parts are the view of the sea and the huge rooms. Staff was friendly. However they need to be trained to create a pleasant stay for guests and the basic things working in the room Eg. Light, WiFi, aircon etc. For the price paid, this was certainly overpriced. It is way below my expectations.

Déception totale, nous aurions du lire les commentaires avant de réserver cet "hôtel". Prix bien trop cher pour la prestation... Nous avons été dans une première chambre, vue magnifique (heureusement) mais pas d'eau chaude, pas de clim, draps et serviettes tachés, piscine verte, état général de l'hôtel déplorable. Nous avons ensuite été changés de chambre avec toujours une vue imprenable sur la mer mais toujours des draps sales, pas de nouvelles serviettes, toujours pas de savons dans la salle de bain, des glaçons qui tombent de la clim sur votre tête pendant la nuit, ... Quant au petit-déjeuner, relativement pauvre mais reste plus ou moins convenable. Pas de restauration les midis et soirs. Seul point positif : le personnel est très aimable. Il est impératif d'avoir un 4x4 pour accéder à l'hôtel, qui n'est d'ailleurs pas du tout indiqué. Bref, passez votre chemin vous trouverez mieux ailleurs.

Sehr schönes Hotel nettes Personal

Das Hotel war sehr schön leider mussten wir die ersten zwei Nächte zu viert in unserem Zimmer verbringen da man unser zweites Haus vermietet hatte das sollten wir Ihnen bekannt geben wir haben das vor Ort angegeben und man hat uns gesagt das wenn wir das Expedia melden Expedia das Geld von ihnen zurückfordert und dir dann das Geld von Expedia zurück bekommen liebe Grüße Iris jung

Excelente vista x caminhada para Tofo

O hotel possui uma linda vista da praia de Tofinho. O quarto é bastante espaçoso. Para chegar no centro de Tofo, no entanto, é necessária uma caminhada de 10-15 min passando pela praia (caminhada na areia fofa).

Great little lodge!

A very comforatble stay. Rooms have a spectacular view over the Indian Ocean with whale watching possible from the balconies. All other sites and points of interest in Tofo are in easy reach.

It was not good at all. We booked from the 14th of April until the 17th of April 2017. Upon arrival at Varandas do Indico (after a 12 hour drive) the hotel informed us that we did not have a booking. after providing emails of hotels.com confirming the booking, the continued too inform us that we do not have a booking. We had to book into another hotel for a R1000.00 for the room (which we had to pay upfront). On the 15th of April 2017, the hotel manager was not even present to assist us (like he promised to). Only at 13H00pm that afternoon - a waiter assisted us - and when we confronted the hotel manager again if the booking was sorted out he then said yes. We paid for 3 nights and only slept two nights at the hotel - I want to know who will be refunding me for the extra payment? When we tried to order something to drink - their mini-bar had almost no stock in - they could also not supply most of the food indicated on the food menu. The hotel has stunning views and so much potential. Compliments to the poor waitering staff trying to assist the guest with what they had and being friendly.
