The facility was very old. This would have been fine, but then I found pinhead size bugs on the counters and sinks. We stayed, but I hardly slept. In the morning I notified the cleaning woman about the bugs. She was very kind.

Sorry to hear that your stay was not satisfactory. I don’t know what kind of bug it was, but we do have Arrows pest control company regularly spaying bug spray every month.Your observation tells me that they need to do a better job. I will call them to come back and redo spraying .Thanks.

the beds were made & seemed clean. But the rest of the room was filthy. I had to take the washcloth and wipe down the tabletops, counter tops & the floor, that were all coated with a very sticky substance. White rag was then black! Shame on front desk staff if they were not checking up on the cleaning staff!

Its a little dated, stove burners could of been more cleaner but I was there just overnite if staying longer and fixing food. it would need cleaner. I would stay there if in town 3-4 days the next time. Thank you

The room was filthy. I brought alcohol and Clorox wipes with me because of the pandemic but I found myself using them to clean the bathroom, specifically the bathtub. The refrigerator had dirt inside and out as if someone had spilled something but staff never cleaned it. An outlet was taped to the wall. It would have been fine for one night but wow. I was highly disappointed.

Nice very clean room.i needed a ground floor (no elevator) so i was given room with kitchenette! Close to several fast food and a pharmacy. A little noisy but after all, it was friday night. Felt safe Nd secure.

The kitchenette is great and a real bonus given the low price. I also felt the area was safe and that my car would still be there in the morning unlike some areas around Detroit.

The bathroom had no door. Cigarette burn holes in the blankets. Creaky floors. Grumpy staff. Everyone there was loud and slammin doors all night long.

So gross and dirty
We stayed here during the Big Ten game in December, what a horror show!! The pictures on their website are from 20 years ago. The sheets and pillows had large yellow stains on them and so did the towels. It was so gross we contemplated driving 3 hours back to MI at 2am. I’m pretty sure a few people are either long term renters or live there. We did not feel safe, and left at 5:15am. Also the fridge kicks on randomly making a VERY loud rattling sound for 20 minutes at a time.

Disappointing
The rooms were dirty, there were bugs crawling on the sink. We checked in early in the afternoon, and were not able to return to our rooms (2) until around 2 AM. One key would not open a door, and we used the "emergency" phone twice, but there was no answer. We were forced to use one room, which resulted in one guest sleeping on the floor with a pillow and the bedspread. When we went to the office for a refund for the one room in the morning, we were kept waiting (9AM) for over 10 minutes because the desk clerk was in the shower. We are returning to the area in early January, but will not return to this hotel.

Just stayed for one night but it was affordable, clean, spacious enough for 3. Bed was to firm for my liking but outside of that excellent experience. If I ever comeback this way I would stay here again.

The first room they gave us was dirty. The second room wasnt much better. The stove didnt work, there was still coffee grounds in the coffee pot, the pots and cooking utensils werent in the room as described. I wont ever stay here again.

Clean room - okay for us- short overnight stay. The room had a small electric stove if someone needed t cook or heat food in the oven. Good location downtown area. Also good to know that there's good fast food + family restaurants close by if you want a meal (coming/going). We would stay at East Street Inn again if we're in Tipton.

This isn't a luxury hotel. But for the price that is totally fine. It was clean and the staff was polite and helpful. There weren't weird crumbs or cracked paint or anything wild. It was just as described and worked great. The deadbolts are broken, thats a quick fix if the hotel wants to make easy improvements.

Got there late and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We were only there overnight, but the beds were very comfortable and it had a nice full kitchen.

There was only one employee on site and she was taking care of multiple issues while I was there. The security of the guest rooms left a lot to be desired. There was a simple lock on the room's door knob which used an actual key as opposed to a key card and a chain latch on the door. There was no dead bolt or bar latch. The room was very dingy and cramped, there were only two items in the vending machine and the wifi was very spotty - there one minute, gone the next. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The employee on site was very friendly and did what she could to make my stay pleasant.

Our stay was ok, most of the problems we had was not the fault of the hotel but with the other guests who were staying there. A lot of crying and shouting and the walls are thin folks.

It was old and not well cared for. Bathroom layout was small and odd with the door opening right to the sink making you shut the door to use the sink. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The furniture and fixtures were worn and dirty. I would not recommend this Inn to anyone or ever stay there again.
