The restaurant Christians was A+ staff was welcoming and a attentive too all its customers and chief made excellent food. "

"Modala was beautiful. There are many hotels in Bohol, but I'm so glad we chose this one. The pool and beach are pristine and quiet, and we loved the shopping area attached to the hotel, with good restaurants, cafes, and lovely shops for souvenirs and handmade jewelry. The hotel restaurant was excellent, and the buffet breakfast was extensive and featured local delicacies from Bohol - something new every morning. The staff were so gracious and accommodating. I would return to Bohol just to stay at Modala again!"

"The place was hard to find, road wasn't even, bathroom stink,sometimes no running water rooms has ants, i can go on and on..at least tbe staff are nice. We had to check out earlier.."

"The good thing is that it is located inside the Napaling Reef confines. The bad thing is that the community reef guard does not allow even resort guests to swim/snorkel with the sardines outside the normal times. This means only after 6 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon. This goes for the entire Napaling reef stretch. Room is quite ok apart from the normal issues.:Toilet is leaking to the floor, toilet is very prone to clogging. Restaurant is serving 2 choices of free breakfast. One so called Filipino and one Western. Very small portion for the Western. The restaurant has rather few options for dinner but if ordered before 4 pm then it is ok quality for this remote place."

"The resort is quiet, which is what I was looking for. The rooms are clean and you have everything you need to include wifi, cable tv, and A/C. Beware of the road that leads to the resort is very rough and bumpy. "
