「Newly-built hotel on a quiet side street. Clean, modern rooms with attached bath and shower. No a/c however, but the climate is cool up at this altitude. No English spoken but staff makes an effort to communicate with translation apps. Decent breakfast. Several parking spots in gated courtyard for regular-sized vehicles. This hotel is likely the best in town as of summer 2026. Great views of the At Bashy Mountains from town and the drive to the Tash Rabat ruins is scenic on a sunny day....

「There was a dead mouse with flies and maggots in the first room given to me. Attention was lacking. They gave me another room and apologized. There was a live mouse in the next room. Careful with bringing groceries, but this is necessary as no dinner was available. The owner didn’t seem too interested in providing a good experience but maybe it was a cultural and language barrier. I didn’t like the floodlight 100 ft outside my room. Darkness to be able to appreciate the stars fully would be...

「Brand new small hotel with very friendly staff in a great location for Karakol and Lake Issyk-Kul south shore. Modern rooms, interesting decor, comfortable beds and good heating plus a coffee shop. Excellent value for money, and would stay again if I return to the area.」

「New and clean property. Few things missing: can’t control heat/ac, thermostat is fake, at least in our room. No glasses of any kind. No refrigerator. A lot of construction going on in the area. Dusty and noisy. Far from city center. Perhaps is more proper choice during ski season. 」
