Woodwards White Mountain Resort, BW Signature Collection
10/10 Excellent
"Very spacious rooms and bathrooms. Fridge and microwave in the room was so helpful. The beds were comfy and firm. Nice TV with cable. Breakfast was convenient, basic but good. Everyone loved the fresh waffles and the bagels with decent. There was warm scrambled eggs, home style potatos and breast sausages. Nothing to write home about, but they are available if you want them. The indoor pool was awesome and because of the rain, we definitely took advantage of it. My son loved the game room. Every game was working and well maintained. All the games use standard quarters and there is a change machine right there in the game room. Which I appreciated. Hate using tokens at some places. Then you're stuck with a bunch of useless tokens if you don't use them all."
"Friendly staff. More of a timeshare then a hotel. Has a very cozy feeling. Rented a room for a wedding happening at the Barn and it was super easy to navigate to from the venue."
"The pool and hot tub were under renovation when we were there. The contractor was there early in the morning working on the pool and hot tub on the weekend that we were there and this was noisy."
"This was an excellent property with a helpful staff and great amenities. I wish that they included a free breakfast. They did offer free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate and some granola bars for us."
"The staff was polite and helpful. I was greeted immediately upon arrival. The desk clerk had a bit of trouble finding my reservation at first, but eventually he found it. He informed me of all the amenities and thanked me for my booking.
The room was adequate, although not as clean as I would have preferred. The TV remote was covered in dried-on food, and there were stains on the rug and walls near the window. There was also no handsoap in the bathroom, so we opted to just use the shower gel that was provided in order to wash hands.
House keeping doesn't put fresh towels/ washcloths in daily, you must request this.
The fridge in the room was very cold, this was great for keeping our drinks refreshingly chilled.
The room was very quiet and the view of Cannon Mountain was lovely. There were plenty of TV channels, so we had no trouble finding something to watch.
The breakfast was a bit Spartan, but adequate. The coffee was pretty good as far as hotel coffee goes.
All in all, it was an adequate place to stay on a last minute booking."
