「The rooms were spotless and staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort is large and laid out in a forest setting with covered raised open air walkways. There were bikes you could ride from your room to the very large pool area, We took kayaks down the small river behind the resort and it was like a jungle river trip with huge trees and lush forest all around. The food was unexpectedly great, like really really good. The room was good, with everything needed to have a good night. Would definitely stay again !」

「I stayed in hotal Five S for a few weeks in dec/jan 2026. Beautiful, well maintained building in a nice spot in Kampot (less than a dollar to the river by tuktuk). Friendly owner, efficient staff. Good breakfast in several variants in a nice garden-like environment with a small pool. 「The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. 」
