Hotel was clean and the staff was okay. Food is really bad and had a very bad experience during checkout.my package was including breakfast and they tried charging for break fast and I have to wait there in the reception for 30 min to sort out the issue

I had a great stay with my family at this beautiful resort. The location was easy to find and most of the rooms have a beautiful lake view. The property is well maintained and the staff is very helpful and kind. The service is pretty quick and they have an amazing pool that you can use and an activity room for playing carroms, table tennis and pool. They have a mini library that visitors can use and other memorabilia items that are for sale. The restaurant serves delicious multi cuisine food and the hotel premises are well sanitized and they have necessary precautions for the pandemic. Would love to visit this place again with family as the location and staff all were amazing.

Lovely, friendly comfortable hotel

Really lovely hotel close to local amenities. Food at hotel was delicious, breakfast was brilliant. Staff very friendly and happy to help. Plenty of rickshaws just outside hotel. WiFi wasn’t working during our stay. Would definitely stay again though.

Mixed feelings about this place

I have mixed feelings about Lake Palace. It's supposedly a 5 star hotel, but there were several things lacking. The positives and negatives of my stay follow: Positives: - The service of the wait staff was very high. They even went out of their way to make us a specially prepared roast chicken for Christmas dinner, which wasn't on the menu, at no extra charge! - The food was delicious - The rooms were clean Negatives: - The restaurant seemed to have a policy of cooking everything on your order all at once before bringing any of it out. This led to cold starters much of the time, as they'd not bring them out until they'd finished cooking the mains - There are fairly frequent power cuts - The WiFi was patchy and frequently uncooperative - The end of the garden, near the lake, STINKS! Smells like an open sewer. There's visible garbage in the garbage store and the view from our room - the hotel's only suite and the best room in the place - was of a baron wasteland with drains. At one point a member of staff even urinated directly under our balcony in full view! - The AC in the room didn't always work - Driver we booked didn't speak English, despite us being told he would - Remote location might not be appreciated, depending what you're looking for - They tried to charge us for a pomegranate stain, which is unexpected in a 5 star hotel!

Lake Palace Hotel

I booked a room on hotels.com to stay at Lake Palace Hotel on Oct 14 to 15, but since i did it from U.S., they reserved room for 13th to 14th, which was the time i was flying to India....the room, service and restaurant was really great. Clean, everything worked, friendly and helpful staff. When their security guard put my luggage with passport in someone else's car and it took off, the hotel sent someone to drive an hour and a half away in Kollam to retrieve it. Would have been a yuge problem for me. Yuge. Honest mistake, and i got it back so it was an overall fantastic experience at Lake Palace Hotel in Trivandrum. I recommend staying here.

Hotel de passage

Big disappointment

This hotel was not in good shape. Half of the stuff in purview room was broken. Also bad service (me and my travel companion did not get our food at the same time and the drinks cane when the food was finished...). The hotel also arranged unannounced parties with insanely loud music as well, leaving trash in the garden. This hotel might have five stars but according to me it does not live up to the standard of a five star hotel. I could unfortunately not recommend this place.

Stay was good but response from staff is slow. Way to find hotel is difficult as it is in remote area and appx. 23 km away from main city towards north. Good place if you want to spend time staying at hotel.

Excellent place to stay.

Our stay at Lake Palace was very memorable. The staf were very friendly and helpful in every aspect of our stay. The icing of the stay was a surprise birthday celebration when the staf had organised a beautiful cake on my birthday. I'll always remember their goodwill gesture. Felt like at home.

Great hotel- hidden gem

this was a family holiday-a first time visit to Kerela this hotel far exceeded our expectations I cannot raise a single flaw staff humble kind and honest we have to give specific mention to Santosh who was the hotel driver he was brilliant! He went out of his way to acomadate our internirary-even arriving at 1am to take us towards north Kerela. He was professional, very kind and very knowledgable of local and distant tourist spots! Santosh is an asset to this hotel. Breakfast was good with helpful staff the lake and garden back of hotel was a great bonus! beautiful, quiet and relaxing!

ليست جيدة الفندق في منطقه نائية وبعيده عن جميع الخدمات لا مطاعم ولا سوبر ماركت ولا تاكسي ويقوم وغلاء اسعار الفندق والضريبة التي يفرضها على الزائر وايضا اذا رغب الضيف الذهاب الى المدينة فيستغرق ذلك ساعة ذاهبا وساعة ايابا لبعد المسافة بين الفندق ومركز المدينة .

Nid douillet au bord du lac

Un hôtel super avec un personnel toujours présent , compétent. C'est super génial pour les clients qui recherchent du repos et du calme. Le jardin est magnifique avec vue directe sur le lac. Le manager de l hôtel Hashim Thaha très, très , compétent et toujours souriant, de bonne humeur. Un hôtel a recommander pour les touristes .

North Trivandrum

The hotel is new although it is out of the way and not much to do near the hotel. There were pictures on Hotels.com for the hotel showing archery, jet skiing, kayaking, and mountain bike riding. Those pictures are just for show and are not available. The food was decent at a good price.
