I stayed for 2 nights, paid my bill and left really I should have refused to pay for the 2 nights as I left there very sick probably caused ...

Thika is a burgeoning city and the smaller cousin of Nairobi. It is always good to be careful here as crime does happen. Usually people are very nice and if you offer a smile and a Swahili greeting it goes a long way. Never go for the first price.
