"We booked this property as the picture on website looked nice. It said we would share bathroom only with people in our party, this was booked as non-refundable. We only book properties with en-suite usually but as said it would only be shared with our party. Once booking came through I checked the postcode and found that the property was down a private road which you could not view on google maps. The Crown Hotel

8/10 Good

"Staff very obliging. All very polite. Ensuite in our first room was a little cramped but we adapted. There was a problem with water leakage from another room so we were asked to move. The new room was even better. Food and drink prices no more expensive than other establishments. Hotel has old world character which was nice to see as the county seems to be loosing our traditions. This is bad for the country and hospitality sector."

"We stayed at The Duke’s Head Hotel for three nights & on registering, we were given a complimentary upgrade. The room was lovely with a lounge, bedroom & bathroom, being very comfortable & clean. The staff were very helpful & friendly. Our booking included breakfast & there was a wide & good choice. We had an evening meal on our first night which was well presented & delicious. The hotel is ideally situated for getting around King’s Lynn. The only disadvantage is that although there is parking behind the hotel, it is a pay car park(£15 per 24hrs). The bath was quite deep which could be a problem for anyone with a physical disability to get in & out of, the shower being over the bath & was quite slippery. However, I would definitely stay here again if visiting Norfolk."

"We stayed for 3 nights at The Olde Windmill Inn and enjoyed every moment. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was quiet, spacious, clean and airy with a very comfy bed and all the amenities we needed; tea, coffee, water, biscuits and clean fluffy towels in the bathroom. The housekeeping staff were polite, attentive and efficient and our room felt like home from home. The breakfast menu was amazing, plenty to choose from whether you’re just a bit peckish and fancy something light to being ravenous and ready for a full English. All served in a very relaxed environment. We also ate in the pub one evening and again, it was great. A full menu of freshly cooked options for all tastes. The pub was busy, which was great to see in these economically challenging times. We’d definitely stay at The Olde Windmill again. A perfect place to stay and explore Norfolk."

Dunston Hall Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort

"One approaches the hotel with a drive through beautiful woodland and then arrive at a breathtakung Elizabethan revival manor house, the archtecture is truly impressive and the interior does not disappoint either. Our room was immaculate and the facilities are top drawer, Swimming pool, sauna,steam room, gym and a very smart spa. If golf is your thing there is a lovely golf course and driving range. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful which helps to create a very pleasant and relaxing vibe, all of which makes Dunston the perfect place for a relaxing break, we will definetly be coming back. Well recommended."
