Ageon Hotel is well situated in the central district. Coming from the airport, my bus came within a half block of it’s entrance. Close by is also the Venezelou Metro station, giving one extra mobility.

They had a breakfast, the staff was helpful, and it was in a busy area where you can access sights by foot. If you’re a lite sleeper however, you may have a difficult time sleeping because of the car and city noises. The first room was small but ok for me since I was only there to sleep and shower. If they had some hooks to hang things on to dry it would be nice. Since you’re in the city you probably will get annoyed consistently with the scam artists pretending to be poor.

The room was small, but the shower room, sink, and toilet were clean and comfortable. However, I was a little disappointed that there were not many power outlets, which was inconvenient. The fact that there was a refrigerator and mineral water was provided was highly praised. I think it was a nice place to stay, with good restaurants nearby.

Small but efficient room. If you ate a large person you may have difficulty with the bathroom. The rooms with balconies facing the busy thoroughfare is quite noisy until around midnight. The breakfast is available for a fee. Best to wander a short distance to interesting restaurants nearby.

I originally booked this hotel for about two weeks. However, after 3–4 days, even though leaving meant losing the cost of roughly 10 nights as it was non-refundable, I decided to move to another hotel because I didn't want the rest of my trip to be ruined. (To prevent the hotel from profiting further by reselling the room to another guest, I chose not to formally check out.) First, I want to give credit where it's due. The front desk and housekeeping staff were outstanding, friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be able to give this hotel even one star. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is severely outdated and poorly maintained. Although I was assigned a non-smoking room, the table was covered with cigarette burn marks. The bedding were old and worn out. The bathroom door was less than a meter from the head of the bed, and the smell of cleaning chemicals from the bathroom lingered constantly making it difficult to sleep. The soundproofing was also terrible. I could clearly hear loud noises from the other rooms even phone vibrations and people snoring. In my opinion, this hotel's three-star rating is far too generous. In many other countries, it would struggle to qualify as a one-star hotel. The fault does not lie with the hardworking staffs on the ground. The real responsibility lies with the owners and management, who have failed to invest in the renovations and maintenance the property desperately needs.

I was already at this hotel but in a different room. There everything was fine. This time the lamp in the bathroom didn't work fine (just half of the light was shining) and also the toilet seat was a bit loose. The positive: the room was clean and the staff was very friendly.

Where to begin…positives- excellent helpful staff, nice hallways, inexpensive. The staff genuinely tried to make up for the shortcomings. Negatives- the shower water pressure wasn’t enough to get water to full flow through the shower head. The water temperature ranged from cold to body temperature. The room smells. The AC didn’t seem to work at all. The buffet breakfast was virtually inedible consisting of toast, some cereals and a few other items served in a room insufficient to hold the number of guests that tended to arrive after about 8:30am which of course was also complicated by the absence of many necessary things like bowls. No in room safes. Cigarette burn marks on the night table in our non smoking room. I don’t trust Expedia anymore regarding their hotel rankings. An international standard is supposed to apply to Star ratings but this was anything but a three star. I would give it a single star rating.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean. Beds in my room were comfortable, I had very nice sleep there. The room was cleaned daily, everything was cleaned nicely. The hotel was in downtown so everything was very close like shopping, food, bakeries etc. Surroundings were safe as well. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are not so big but they were clean. We had a good working air-conditioning. The location is near of the main road and so it's sometimes little bit louder. Sometimes you can also hear the airplanes.

I had been to this hotel in previous years. It has deteriorated tremendously. The air conditioning was not working and the staff could not fix it. The room did not have a balcony . The front desk refused to do anything and refused to give me a refund. I will never ever use this hotel again very disappointing.

Das Hotel ist auf den Bildern schöner beschrieben wie es war. Das Bad war ein Graus, fürchterlich. Das Bad unter 2x2m. Jeder Haken, auch für den Duschkpf war locker. Das Bett zu weich und durch gelegen. Für kurzes übernachten ok ,aber sonnsten nie wieder. Das Frühstück war eigentlich genauso. Blaue kalte Eier, so wie der Rest graußlich.
