"We have always stayed at Universel when driving from Shediac to Ottawa. Pretty close to halfway point. They accept our dog but with a $35 fee. Easy and quick checkin. The restaurant is fantastic (Le Boreal), highly recommend the sous-vide beef or pork cheeks. So freaking good and not overly expensive. Our only issue is the room heater would not shutoff no matter how I set it. So room was very warm. I’m sure they would’ve moved us but we were exhausted and didn’t want to repack. "
