「Quiet neighborhood on the canal which is convenient to explore Leiden or go to the beach but there is no town with shops or restaurants to walk to. We had the suite, but it is just a large room so if you want a separate bedroom for privacy, this is not a suite by American standards.」

「Johannes was a wonderful host. We enjoyed our conversations with him when we arrived and when we departed. He was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He gave good recommendations for restaurants that we could walk to and what to do in the area. The neighborhood was quaint and peaceful. Our room was inviting, so clean, cheery, cozy, and comfortable. If in the area again we would stay at Johannes’ place.」
