「Stephen was a wonderful host showing us our room on arrival and explaining arrangements there. Room 3 was extremely well appointed with our own entrance and outdoor space. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day. Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside. A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying...

「We stayed at Waterland Farm as a family of 9 (plus 1 dog) for a long weekend break and it was brilliant. The house is very spacious with lots of facilities, including a toy room for the kids, a PS /x-box and old-school vinyl record player. The outdoor area is massive and the kids loved the football goal and playground. As it states the field isn’t secure for a dog as there are open areas but she still enjoyed a run around. Overall a great place to stay and we would return! 」

「Staff, very friendly and great service. The rooms are beautiful, with great facilities. However, the beds are the hardest I have ever slept on, which resulted in broken and painful sleep. I did not rise refreshed. Breakfast was really good but sausage was very tangy (maybe male pig) so I was unable to eat. 」

「If you are walking the Tarka Trail, actually even if you are not, this is the place to stay. The setting is idyllic the hosts are so welcoming and helpful and the lodge is well equipped. 」

「A lovely find hidden away off the main street. We only booked the room an hour before arriving but were made to feel very welcome by the young lady behind the bar. Breakfast was cooked by Phil and was delicious and he came out and had a lovely chat with us. I would highly recommend. 」
