We were able to check in early, which was a big help, and when we arrived we delighted to see how spotlessly clean it was. 「The staff were very friendly and helpful, the receptionist had booked guests in a million times and was very efficient. The young waitress who served me was originally from Kent and l recognised her accent from coming from where l used to live. My room 101 was a nice location, full view of the Scotch Corner roundabout and could see the snow and when it was clear so l could get on my way to continue my journey to Scotland. 「Beautiful cottage in the heart of Barnard Castle town. The rooms were big and very comfortable. The place was very clean and modern and it had plenty of spaces to relax in (lounge, games/tv room & dining room). The staff were very accommodating also! Thank you for a great stay!」
