Unbeatable Location, Great Staff
We had a great stay at Grand Hotel Palace! The staff is kind and accommodating, the breakfast was good, and the room was very comfortable and clean! The hotel is directly across the street from Rotonda beach! We had a great view of both the beach as well as the ancient Roman Tempio Giove Anxur. You couldn’t ask for a better location. We highly recommend staying here, and we hope to return in the future!

Nice, clean and close to the beach.
Very comfortable , close to the center and beach . Nice breakfast and friendly staff . Close to Bus station as well to go to Monte San Biagio to get the train to Rome.

A nice stay
Parking is sparce around the entire area not just the hotel but when we arrived mid afternoon the owner greeted us and tried to find us a spot close by, nothing was available so he moved his own car from right outside the building for us to park in. Room was comfortable and directly overlooking the beach area, aircon was fine and there was a small sky tv box attached to the tv so you could get english channels as well as a lot of others or change the language on some dubbed italian movie channels back into english, bathroom was adequate and there was a small in room safe. Beach opposite though we didn't bother to use and the main shopping street for the town is around the corner 75 m away. Up this street there are a fair few shops and quite a few restaurants and bars open late. Overall given the mixed reviews we had a better than expected stay, it can get a bit noisy in the mornings if lying in due to doors slamming and talking but the rooms and hallways are tiled so you are going to get a bit of noise.The room had blackout curtains that could do with replacing if I have to be critical but the hotel the staff and the owners were all very nice and our stay was enjoyable..thanks..

Hotel & room fantastic, staff generally good, private beech very well organised along with others in the resort, for 'decorated chef' food was average at best, parking very limited outside the hotel although public parking nearby at a cost.

Hotel on the beach.
Our first room was unacceptable. It's a no smoking hotel but the first room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke. We had to move to another room. We went to the hotel's private beach and signed a chit for 2 towels and use of chairs and an umbrella for the day. Later I found out it was 30 euros each day!!! Initially I did ask what the charge was at the front desk but wasn't given a direct answer. I should have been adamant for a response but I thought how much could it possibly be and did't give it another thought. I was surprised at the bill. 120 euros for 4 days.

great city for summer beaches
great place to experience the local citizenry of Italy. stayed there because i wanted to experience once again the best sea food in italy. anyone that travels here or close by, have a dinner at Il Granchio! superb fresh Italian gourmet restaurant! the owner Luca is excellent in explaing what you are eating and his wife Daniela is the best chef in the whole Lazio region! Terracina has more that 3 miles of beach, great place to stay a few days in summer

The Hotel is great and they have their own beach across the road !!! Spaeking as an Australian it is a bit hard to pay someone to use the beach! However, that's what goes on in Europe & the towel costs an extra 5 Euro! It is a good town and many excellent restaurants/ bars just around the corner. Parking is a problem! The breakfast was great the water beautiful and clear and we had a great stay at Palace. I would easily go there again.

They will charge you extra tax of 5 € a day also they will charge you 3 € / hour to use the internet and they will charge you 15€ to use to umbrella to use it in the beach . Very bad breakfast only eggs and a lot if sweet no healthy at all . Very very old furniture also their is no parking therefore you have to pay 5€ for a whole day or 1 € /hour for parking. Internet is very bad

Everything about this hotel is negative.the room is tiny. the bed is horribly tiny and very uncomfortable.the included breakfast is cold and bad and it is just coffee and sweets. the internet is slow and expensive. the fee for the internet is 3 euros for 1 hour and 15 euros for 12 hours and 20 euros for 24 hours. the hotel is just bad, very bad and over priced. I paid 110 euros per 1 night.

OK hotel - four star - no way. Only cold breakfasts, hardly a bar and not really a busty restaurant for dinner Has a private beach but charges high rates for umbrellas and loungers - we wanted to use late one afternoon for any hour and had to pay the full day rate - 25 euros. Carpets along the bedroom corridors were filthy. Day rate of 160 euros a little excessive considering it is only a 2-3 star hotel.

Average 3 star hotel, with standard facilities, but a good location and conveniently has a private beach. Dinner at the hotel is ridiculously expensive as is the rental of the sunbeds etc at its private beach with no published price list, so you're billed at the end of the stay.

I had a very pleasant stay, the hotel faces the sea at the bottom of the main street, so convienient for shopping, eating but also access to the beach. I was there out of season (April), I could imagine it could be rather noisy during the summer. However the room was fine, furnishings in good condition, comfy bed. Bathroom was small, but for me was ok. Staff were very helpful.

"Great views"
This hotel was directly across from the beach with a beautiful view. Shops and restaurants are close by. Also there is a market around the corner. People in Terracina are very friendly. There is not crime. The hotel staff was wonderful. The only problem is that the hotel restaurant is not opened in the winter, but there are plenty of restaurants to go to. Loved it.

Dette er ikke et 4 stjerners hotell, knapt nok 2;5. Restauranten, baren og takterrassen er stengt og i strandbaren stenger de matsalget kl 1300. Det er gammelt og nedslitt, og det er ingen fasiliteter på rommet. Badet er gammelt og med verdens minste dusjkabinett og renholdet er ikke allverden. Korridoren er mørklagt til langt på kveld, kanskje så vi ikke skal se de stygge og nedslitte teppene, og vi måtte bruke lommelykt for å låse opp døren. Vi fikk ingen informasjon da vi kom, men måtte spørre om alt og det finnes ingen brosjyrer om stedet eller aktiviteter. Det er veldig lytt både mellom rommene og mot trafikkstøy på gaten. Det er lystette gardiner på rommet, men det er så mange hull at lyset trenger inn. Frokosten er veldig enkel bortsett fra kaker og personalet snakker ikke engelsk og hverken smiler eller hilser. Også hos øvrige ansatte er det manglende engelsk kunnskaper og hun som passer resepsjonen på dagtid snakker kun italiensk. På den private stranden skulle det være spesialpris for gjester for leie av solseng og parasoll og den var 25 euro uten håndkle. Da vi sjekket hos naboen så fikk vi leie tilsvarende for 20 euro og med en mye bedre kafé. Så her viser grådigheten sitt ansikt. Beliggenheten er bra, men den veier ikke opp for standard og manglende service. Terracina er veldig koselig og sjarmerende, men det er lurt å reise før de begynner å stenge ned i midten av september.

Beliggenhet midt i smørøyet
Hotellet ligger midt i hjerte av Terracina. Nydelig liten strand som hører til hotellet, med lite folk. Man må betale for solstolene hvis man bor mindre enn 7 dager. Hyggelig betjening som snakker lite engelsk, men man klarer å forstå hverandre. Hotellet har hatt sin storhetstid og er litt slitent, rommene likeså, men beliggenhet slår alt.

I would stay again
Really clean and nice hotel. We had a beautiful view from our balcony. Our room surprised us positively since it looked better than in pictures. Staff was friendly. Location probably one of the bestest in Terracina. Right next to beach, beautiful view to the mountain, a lot of restaurants nearby, easy access by walking to every quarter of Terracina. Using beach chairs and umbrellas was pretty expensive (around 25€/day) and in my opinion using beach should be free or really cheap to use for hotel’s customers.

Camere fredde e sporche, le tende sono bucate e con patina scura. Il bagno sporco con la doccia con residui di sporcizia vecchia. Inoltre il tempo per la colazione è minimo, solo dalle 7:30 alle 9:30 e di notte se sei in giro rimani chiuso fuori. Non c’è possibilità di avere chiavi di cortesia o altro. Per essere un 4 stelle bisogna rivedere più di una cosa.

Bra hotell.
Vi bodde en natt här och vi trivdes väldigt bra. Gratis Parkering direkt utanför hotellet. Frukosten ingick. Det var mest kakor och sötsaker till frukost. Men mycket annat. Gott kaffe. Rummet var rymligt och sängen skön. Balkong. Vi var nere på stranden en stund där de även hade solsängar man fick låna. Nära till de historiska kvarteren.

Hotel 4 étoiles qui n'en vaut que 2
L'hotel est très bien situé, près de la plage avec vue sur la mer et le Tempio di Giove. Par contre, il est très difficile de stationner. Je pensais trouver un parking privé. Il faut tourner des heures pour trouver une place. Le petit déjeuner est très basique, même pas de jus d'orange frais, au pays où on trouve des orangers dans les rues, très décevant. La climatisation fonctionne très mal dans les chambres, tout est vieillot, la cabine de douche très petite, le pommeau de douche ne peut être décroché du mur. De plus il faut payer pour le transat et le parasol sur la plage privée de l'hotel, alors que le prix affiché dans la chambre est de 270 euros la nuit!!!! Hotel déconseillé

Noi abbiamo prenotato due adulti e un bambino quindi abbiamo pagato a che il soggiorno del bambino ma Appena arrivati ci comunicano che dobbiamo pagare l'extra della culla obbligatoria anche se non la vogliamo..... Poi ci aggiungono la tariffa della spiaggia anche se il servizio spiaggia era incluso.... Poi i miei amici non hanno avuto la pulizia della camera per due giorni e le camere sono piccolissime

Situation de l'hôtel très pratique
Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour sa proximité avec le restaurant, en face, où nous allions à un mariage. Pas de déception. Seul bémol, c'est de faire payer 25 € par jour pour utiliser la plage privée de l'hôtel. Terracina est une belle station balnéaire et il faut monter jusqu'au temple de Jupiter pour un superbe panorama.

The name of the hotel is more grand than the hotel itself. Close to beach and mainstream. Few parking lots, so be there in time. Plain rooms with simple beds. Breakfast ok
