I was travelling with a 17 year old dog and she could sleep inside with me. The cabin had an ensuite and a small deck with table and chairs. Also there was a coffee van who made very nice coffee. Very pleased with the property.

Asked Expedia to book accommodation. Lodge advised NO accommodation available. Cancelled booking prior to this date, due no lodges available . Expedia refused to acknowledge there mistake and refund. Best to go direct to accomodation. Expedia has left a foul taste in my mouth for Xmas. Not very jolly season spoilt by Expedia money grab, and not willing to talk, just silly virtual chat.

Arrived about 9.00 at night, and it was about 5 degrees, to find that the kids (3) bunk beds had not been made. Had to do that before we could get the kids in bed, during which they were freezing cold as the heating had not been turned on even though front office were aware we would be arriving after hours and with kids in tow. Then we found to our dismay that there was only hot water for two kids to have a shower, not number three or either of the adults. Owner tried to get the hot water system sorted but was unable. Gave us an option to use the shower in another unit. Air con unit never caught up during the night to warm the room, providing a rather low quality of restful sleep. Owner to his credit tried to sort the hot water, and then gave us a discount for the 'non ensuite' room.

Great little cabin with plenty of room. The cabin we booked was open plan, with a Queen and single bed, small kitchenette for convenience of light refreshments. We had a parking spot next to cabin and the walk to the amenities (our cabin did not have a toilet or shower) was super close. The park is busy but quiet and the welcome is exceptional.

Clean and tidy and very friendly staff. The camp kitchen was quite good. Probably just need ambient light like a lamp/reading light as you only have the full on cabin room light.

Both Tenterfield Lodge & Expedia were extremely helpful with our change of plan/last minute booking ... thankyou. Our cabin was really good ... clean & quiet & good value. We liked the look of the old Lodge on the edge of town. Sadly ... because of time limits ... we had no time to look around Tenterfield.
