What a lovely place to stay. A bit tricky to find as it's in a conservation area and so no signage to the car park, but once we found it we were absolutely thrilled. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with everything we needed. Breakfast was also great, and being able to eat it outside in the fabulous garden was a bonus. Will definitely book again.

What a warm wonderful and friendly host Rod was, greeting us on our arrival, escorting us to our room and explaining where everything was. The building was amazing and our room, the courtyard room, was immaculate with lovely considerate touches of dressing gowns, slippers and quality toiletries. Breakfast was beautifully cooked with high class ingredients. We would most definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Rod.

We had a very pleasant visit to this lovely Tudor house. It is well maintained, clean and well equipped. Rod Hardingham was a helpful host, and produced a good breakfast. Beware the low ceilings though!

Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!

It was a great location and really pretty place with lovely gardens. The Japanese decor inside was unexpected but stunning. The quirky stairs to the ensuite was interesting but made it more fun. Lovely breakfast and friendly, helpful host.

Very pleasant stay

We only stayed one night but spent a comfortable evening there. The breakfast in the court yard was novel and very good on a sunny morning. Tenterden has many interesting shops, cafes and restaurants/pubs
