"Would NOT recommend this hotel. They will take your money in a second, require double payment at check-in and charge your credit card and take over a week to refund, actually have not received a refund yet 7 days later. Check-In process was a terrible experience. The staff member was rude, told me I had not paid, that I was wrong, that my charge was virtual. It turns out I had paid, was correct and he was completely wrong. His rude attitude and presence set off a horrible week at Jewel Boutique Hotel. Had to spend an hour confirming with Hotels.com / Expedia that room had been pre-paid. The manager called the next day and said staff member was wrong and refund would be issued. Great problem solved, NEGATIVE! Like most people he had some excuse about it would take a few days. No problem, unfortunately a week later refund has not been issued.
