A charming hotel with a great service!
The hotel has its years but it is well maintained, and the personnel is very diligent and helpful. I had a medicine that needed to be frozen, I asked for help in the kitchen and they helped me immediately! The only thing that l could change is the registration process that was a bit slow. They need more people to attend the registration desk.

Good deal
Overall for $80,- a night including service fees this is a great deal . Food is pricey but enough restaurants in the area and a great supermarket . Refrain from the hotel salads : I think I got a food poisoning from it

I spent the night here because of a friend's wedding at this hotel. Had to change room twice. First room because bathroom looked deteriorated and 2nd room because AC wasnt working at all. Staff had poor sense of customer service. Never answered when calling to front desk, had to come down and solve the room problem.

I spent two nights at this hotel and it was wonderful! Great amenities and in a safe area with many bars. I do wish they had a better wifi connection.

Charming and nicer than the pictures. More authentic Hondurian with trees and courtyard, and outdoor dining available, if desired. Restaurant is leisurely , so don't be in a hurry. Prices are reasonable. Avoid a room near the bar because it can be noisy. We were on the 8th floor overlooking the pool. Lovely. Good little district with several restaurant and a coffeeshop (Gallinos) less than 5 minutes walk. Staff is friendly and eager to assist in any way. Pool is larger than most hotel pools, with a children pool and a hot tub. All very clean. The beds were new, with nice linens, however, they were a bit firm for my personal taste. Only minus is the internet, which can be iffy at times, although signal is good in lobby and in restaurant. We had to move around within our room to get a good signal. Free shuttle van from hotel to the airport at 9 am and 11 am. Airport is about 20 minutes, depending on traffic. We will certainly select Maya Honduras for a subsequent trip to Tegucigalpa.

Reasonably priced but outdated rooms
This was a duty trip with meetings in the hotel. This hotel is relatively good value for money, as it is not too expensive. The staff is friendly, and the conference accommodations are very good. The bar and some outside entertainment areas are also recently updated and in very good shape. The room I was in was outdated, with very old and dirty-looking carpet, and the bathroom was old with moldy areas
