Had the room with the balcony for almost a month ~ Of the five Tbilisi hotels I've stayed-in, this is my fave ~ Staff is helpful when needed, out of the way otherwise ~ Hot shower, strong wi/fi ~ Comparatively BIG room ~ Good location, tho bit of a tourist ghetto, so walk a bit to find a reasonably priced cafe ~ I'm told the folks who own the Friendly also have apartments to rent nearby ~ Intend to stay here in the future ~

Amazing, charming and cosy hotel. It may not look of much from the outside, and conditions might be a little rough, but it is a hotel full of charisma, character and friendliness. Management and staff is very helpful. Staying here, you feel like at home and as if you have known the manager for years

The hotel is on the first floor in the building and the exterior wasn't that inviting. But the hotel itself was great. We were in a windowless room, however, but we were there just to sleep. And the communal balcony at the back of the hotel was unique and very homely, and picturesque even though I didn't particularly enjoy having to sit around smokers. The hotel was on a pedestrianised and popular tourist street, so there was no shortage of places to eat and drink and we could get a taxi at the corner. It was a great location and Luca was a great host

I booked Friendly Hotel for a friend—an elderly man with some health issues. The location was very convenient for me, and the price was excellent. But what truly stood out was the level of care and service the staff provided. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, responding to all our (many) requests with tenderness and genuine concern. Every need related to my friend’s condition was met thoughtfully and with compassion. I was deeply touched and remain truly grateful to the team. If you're looking for a simple, clean place in the heart of the city—with a rare sense of human connection—I wholeheartedly recommend Friendly Hotel.

This place puts you straight into the Georgian experience! Every staff member we interacted with went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing! Anything we needed was handled immediately and with a smile! The property was so quiet and calm which was needed after a few days of travel and for the price, I highly doubt you’ll find something better in such a popular area. During our stay, we felt very safe and well protected. We arrived at 6am and we were able to secure an early check in and get some rest. You walk right out the door of the hotel into countless options for dining, shopping or just a beautiful walk through the area. I would 100% recommend this property to friends and family. Thanx guys!

Nice place to stay

The place is well-situated. The room is simple but confortable. My room was on a noisy street - but the music ends at midnight. There is a lovely balcony on the backyard, which was perfect to stay and enjoy the calm! The housekeeper, Roman, is very kind. He will help you to find anything you need and has many goods tips and addresses to suggest! I recommand this hotel.

Friendly Hotel is a great accommodation for visiting Tbilisi. I slept in a room with a large balcony which in summer is really nice. Constantine is extremely helpful and gave me all the information I needed, with useful advice. Communication in English is fast and effective via Whatsapp. I would like to return to Tbilisi because it is an intriguing city and book a room here again.

Odaya ilk geldiğimizde banyoda uzun saclar vardi görür görmez rahatsiz oldum ancak sadece yatmaya kullanacagimiz icin uğraşmak istemedik. odada terlik, bardak vs yoktu, hazirliksiz geldiğimiz icin yerlere basmak cok rahatsiz ediciydi. Otel karsilamasi cok ılımlı ve samimiydi, sim karti, market ve restorant konusunda yardimci oldular. Sonuc olarak beklentisiz gidilir ve sadece uyumak icin kullanilabilir.
