「We stayed one night at the Westlands in a newly refurbished wing. The room was spacious, very clean with excellent decor and facilities. There were plenty of good options for breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally situated on the edge of Pitlochry centre. There were plenty of EV chargers (we charged our car there at a very reasonable cost) and we understand more chargers are on the way. 」

「The hotel and staff were lovely from start to finish. Loved the pool, fantastic breakfast. The only negative was the shower and bath. The shower took ages to get warm, and the bath was not draining away the water. I did mention it to reception incase there was a blockage」

「The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs 」

「What’s not to like!! The hosts, Jane and Calum, are friendly and welcoming. We felt like we were staying with family. Our room was spacious, well decorated and comfortable. We were within easy walking distance from restaurants and shopping. The breakfast menu gave options to please any palate. The porridge was creamy and delicious. We truly enjoyed our stay!!」
