The São Paulo Boutique Hotel is well located in the centre of charming Tavira. It's a small hotel in a historic building with comfortable updated rooms, a good breakfast served either al fresco or in a living room overlooking a small square (depending on the weather). The staff are helpful and kind.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay. A home from home. Well situated for restaurants & shops. Room was cosy & inviting, bed was really comfortable. The room was clean. A MUST stay

This charming boutique hotel is an absolute gem and comes with my highest recommendation. The room was not only lovely but beautifully decorated, so cozy and serene! The staff went above and beyond—exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. The morning breakfast was amazing, offering a delicious variety of fresh, high-quality options in a quaint, welcoming atmosphere. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better; it’s perfectly situated within walking distance to fantastic restaurants, unique shops, and, of course, the scenic river walk. Additionally, it offers easy access to public transport, including bus, train, and ferry stations, making both local and long-distance travel a breeze. A true standout in every way!

Highly recommended

This is a wonderful property with just five rooms and a delightful courtyard where an excellent breakfast was served. The 18th century house, in the centre of Tavira and a short walk to the river has been restored and modernised but it retains all its original charm. Highly recommended.

Wonderful and unique. Very comfortable older home converted to a 5 suite hotel. Rooms are spacious. Decorated in an an eclectic art style. Buffet presentation was amazing. Easy walking distance to the centre of Tavira. The people are extremely helpful.

This property is a B&B, has no business calling itself a “boutique hotel”. We checked into a quaint basic room, wherein the owner set himself up at a desk less than 5m outside our door. It felt like we were in our parents’ home & felt super uncomfortable speaking above a whisper. A romantic getaway without kids, was our hope, instead had odd people sitting 10m from our bed, able to hear everything. We checked out & went to an actual hotel. We were charged in full for both nights we booked there although it was NOT as advertised. Do not recommend unless you like B&Bs with no privacy. The doors were super low & my guy is 6’3”, expected multiple concussions had we remained.

Sehr schönes Hotel mitten in Tavira. Klasse Frühstück und tolle Mitarbeiter. Fußläufig ist alles erreichbar, jedoch ist die Parkplatzsuche schwierig, besonders abends.
