So disappointed. Cost alot of money and did not feel we got value for money. Our room was 2 levels up and was not sound proof from people next door if they were talking outside. The room was very basic. Not as nice as it looked on line. Bed was okay but not great. Hubby and I didnt sleep well, had a pretty terrible night. During the night, not sure what time, it sounded like pipes making this terrible noise. Like someone turned on a tap. It startled us both. So biggest downside was price for a very basic room. Noise from people outside talking, so had to close windows. Basic bed. Definitely not value for money. I know a place as big as this must struggle in this tough economy but if we are going to treat ourselves to a motel/hotel its a treat and this definitely wasnt.

Small issue as room felt hot and muggy. Turned out that the hot bath tap had been left slightly on probably when cleaned. Easily fixed. Staff were friendly, parking easy and the breakfast ticked all the boxes. Had an evening meal in ghe dining room. Service was excellent and a good meal with pldnty of choices.

Everything was wonderful, absolutely loved the spa tub! It’s within walking distance of the lake and the view of the lake was spectacular! The amenities were many and perfect! We also enjoyed the hot tub. It is nice that they schedule 30 minute time slots so you don’t have to sit in a hot tub with strangers!

I enjoyed my stay, coming here to participate in the Ironman event. I found the staff to be very friendly and professional, particularly Mable and Richard. Mable always greeted me by name. The room was clean and spacious. Great facilities, tennis courts and a fabulous pool. I dined twice at the hotel restaurant and the food was very nice and reasonably priced. Richard the restaurant manager was very efficient and professional. Thanks for your hospitality, I will certainly be back! Thank you for making my weekend so special.
