Best family resort in NZ

This resort with out a doubt has to be the best family resort in NZ! The pool is incredible, the 2brm motel style room is stylish but functional.

We loved the property. Everything was in close proximity. My grandchildren had plenty to keep them occupied. The toilets by the pool area was a little messy. I was reluctant to use one but I needed to. All in all we loved it!

The highlights were the hot pool, swim up bar and the game near the reception. Regarding the cabin we just have a few comments: - the lack of privacy between cabins (when we arrived the neighbouring guests were using out balcony and furniture. - it would be nice to have complimentary tea and coffee - there was a hair on the dishes in the kitchen!

We had a fantastic stay. Two adults and two infants. The pool is incredible and the toddler area perfect for our two year old. A swim up bar/cafe for a holiday treat and daily movies on the big screen. Playground and jumping pillows for the kids. A fantastic park!

Very disappointing

Didn’t end up staying. Room was a very average caravan type accommodation. There were 2 power points which were not connected to the wall and had wires hanging out. Drove into town and booked into a motel that cost less and was on the lake and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. Returned our keys and explained about the exposed wires in the room and did not hear back from the property. The resort is not close to the lake or town and the pool area is not as attractive as it is depicted on social media. Would not recommend.

I'd stay there again,worth every penny..

This is the second time we have stay here,my kids love the Cabin and aswell the big thermal heated pool with bar located in the centre of the pool also the cinema in the pool keeps the kids busy while me and the wife unwind with a volder than average beverages,great fun for all,highly recommended.

The thermal pool with swim up bar is amazing! We stayed in a 2 bedroom motel unit which had everything we need. Great kitchen (although the stovetop cooked at either hot or very hot), big bathroom, and great sized living area. Wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights. Location is not close to the main area but still only a 10min drive. Really close to the Huka Falls walkway and Hot pools. We were there late Feb and it felt very quiet with not many people around considering the size of the place.
