A wonderful, wonderful stay.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners, Louise and David were everything you would want your hosts to be, paying attention to the smallest details. We stayed in The Snug, and it was perfect. Breakfast is served at a communal table, which encouraged interaction among guests, A great way to start the day. The breakfast, by the way is superb. Enough to eat, and just a little bit more. This would make a fantastic venue for an extended family gathering, with a large lounge for guests to share, and as much information about the local area as you will ever need.

Lovely place to relax

We had a relaxing & enjoyable stay. The property is charming and full of character and is situated in a lovely quiet area. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was superb, eggs poached to perfection.

Superb stay a little Gem

We cannot fault this little hotel. If you are look for some peace and quiet, then this is for you. Every room was spotless and beautifully decorated and furnished. Breakfast superb. A real hidden gem. Louise the owner was delightful, very welcoming and greeted us with Tea and Cake on arrival. We loveed our stay.

Great setting lovely old house

Fantastic welcome from a friendly host. Room immaculate from bed & bedding to shower toiletries & towels. Epic breakfasts and a peaceful and beautiful setting. Lots to do in the area too. Highly recommended!

Perfect countryside setting

A beautiful rural setting for this cosy farmhouse, complete with wooden beams, a hearty kitchen fireplace and one of the best breakfasts you’re likely to have.

Excellent in every way

My wife and I stayed in 'The Snug' and it was a lovely experience enhanced by the attention to detail, and ambiance of Frog Street Farm. One of the nicest places we have stayed. Thank you so much David and Louise, your efforts in every direction were very much appreciated.

Rural renovated stone farmhouse

Frog Street Farmhouse is located in the midst of active farms and lanes of southern Somerset county, with numerous cows in pastures nearby and grain fields in sight from upper story windows. The house itself is built of classic quarried stone, with the original section dated back to the 1600s and several later additions. The common areas are warm and welcoming, though ceiling beams are a threat to height-advantaged folks. Our room was large and nicely decorated and furnished, with large windows overlooking the flower garden and fields, though storage was limited to a small closet. The bathroom was large, with modern fixtures and lighting. While the house is located minutes from the M5 via four lane A roads, the last 2 miles will be a new experience for American drivers. The hedgerow-lined one-lane roads are curved and rolling, with limited sight lines. These farm lanes are best negotiated with a small car by drivers who are comfortable with reversing into one the tight passing places when on-coming vehicles are encountered.

Beautiful place in the country

A beautiful place to stay and highly recommend it to anyone. Dave and Louise are such wonderful hosts and very helpful with everything. The breakfast is just amazing 👍

Homely and friendly

The rim was lovely, warm and clean, bed was comfy, bathroom was clean. Very homely. Hosts are friendly and welcoming.

Warm welcoming beautiful B&B

I stayed for a couple of nights and couldn't say enough how 'at home' I felt The room was super clean and the bed extremely comfortable The breakfast was really delicious I shall definitely stay here again when I am back this way...

Great room in a fantastic B&B

Amazing B&B. Service was fantastic throughout, the room ("the snug") was amazing, separate lounge complete with wood burner...great bathroom with free standing bath and a great breakfast...really can not fault this place

Wonderful breakfast and comfy, clean room.

Shot one night stay. Not easy to find in the dark. Ask the hotel for directions rather than relying on Sat Nav. Excellent breakfast, especially the home made bread and jams and the pork and marmalade sausage - all piping hot. Only slight grumble was having to sit in between strangers at breakfast who talked over us. Would have liked a table for 2 but understand the owners thought it would be nice to make new friends. Excellent room, very comfy bed.

Lovely peaceful break

Our hosts were lovely made us feel very welcome. The home cooking was amazing and all tastes were catered for. Found the bed slightly uncomfortable bit just preference on our part rather than the actual facilities.

Sehr hübsches Haus in idylischer Landschaft

Das Haus ist aus dem 15. Jahrhundert und ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Man fühlte sich wie in einem Herrenhaus. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und das Frühstück war sehr sehr gut. Die Lage ist allerdings etwas außerhalb, d.h. zum Abendessen wurde das Auto benötigt.
