"This place was just ok for a hotel in India. It’s so far up a mountain that access to outside food and drivers are slim, so you are at the hotel’s mercy for pretty much anything. The balcony was nice and so was the view. No ac in this hotel, and no mosquito nets. There was a really old plug in fan in the room though and it didn’t really fit well with the rest of the room. None of the outlets worked. They are the old India outlets, so the front desk had to bring up their converters. Not...

"This is NOT in Munnar town centre. The map is WRONG. It is actually 12km (35 mins) south of Munnar.
Place is peaceful.
It is 20 minutes walk from the nearest place to eat.
It was freezing cold at night... as in wearing 5 layers of clothing cold.
The smallest cabin would be v tight for 2 people.
The walk up to the cabin from the carpark is crazy steep. Might be challenging for people with mobility issues"

"This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip, even better than other five‑star properties like the Taj. What stood out most were the spotless rooms, the attentive and genuinely caring staff, and the breathtaking views from both our room and the terrace.
We loved the amenities as well: the beautiful swimming pool, excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, and the hotel’s easy access to all the fun things to do in Munnar.
We were traveling with our one‑year‑old, and the staff went above and beyond helping us sanitize bottles multiple times a day, keeping the room clean, and making sure we were always comfortable.
We stayed for two days and had an incredible experience. Highly recommended.
