The staff were very kind and helpful, especially Ramon. Everyone went out of their way to improve the experience. The room was large, clean, and quiet. The only challenge was a very bright blue glow from the display on the A/C unit.
The pool is small (limited by property size) but nice and clean, and there are food and drink choices right there on the property, though a bit pricey. Jaco is just 300 meters away, a bit of a mixed blessing, but does offer lots of food options.
Pricing was reasonable as well. I would say that the gym, which is tiny (maybe 10m square) and very hot, with just some free weights and a bench, but it does beat an in-room workout for most of us. And you can run the beach.
To say they are just steps from the ocean is to understate it. If they were closer, you would be at risk at high tide. The beach is broad and wide and it was pretty clean as well, especially considering the reputation of Jaco itself.
Small extras included (again) the helpful staff, the on premise bar/restaurant, a massage business right outside the door, and a safe monitored parking lot attached. I would certainly return and highly recommend the place.
