"Unique property, staff was friendly and accommodating and there was a nice breakfast provided in the morning. Kids liked staying here, as there were 3 beds in our room so they didn't have to share. Our only complaint would be the bugs and spiders in the room. It is a "cottage style" vibe, so if you are looking for fancy, it might not be your place."

"We thought we were on the Cabot Trail, but we were on highway 105 instead. Could have stated in Sydney and done day trips or booked tours."

"A bit of a trip back in time.... It is an older facility. It was a basic accommodation, but the beds were comfortable and we slept okay. The walls are a bit thin, but people quieted down relatively early. It was a handy place to stay if you are getting on the ferry to Newfoundland."

"The staff when you check in are extremely welcoming and helpful. We were only here for one night at the beginning of our trip and one night at the end. The room is simple and basic but clean. It is a good location if you are using the ferry. You are able to park in front of your room which makes it convenient for packing."
