What a find! Reasonable rates and a comfortable, immaculate room with hearty breakfast included. Set back from main road in Taos in a green lawn with cottonwood trees and a mountain view.

For once I had a bed that was sturdy and not too soft. The room was spacious. More of a homely hotel than your normal chain hotel. They have free chips, salsa and cookies in the afternoon, which is nice because all of the restaurants charge you for chips and salsa. The salsa I had was probably the best salsa I've ever had. Spicy. Oh, and breakfast 💜 They had tamales for breakfast, green chili, eggs, beans,and for those less adventurous...biscuits and gravy. Their options for coffee throughout the day rocks! Espresso, yes please (machine). I think I would take advantage of the walking to the shops, more if I were to come again.

We loved the retro vibe of the property. It transported us back in time a bit! Breakfast was off the chain! Delicious! And the breakfast manager was friendly, efficient, and professional! This is our second time staying here, and we will be back.

The property grounds were beautiful. But the room wasn’t clean. There was a smell when you entered the room and you could see an inch or two by the wall where the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed in years.

Wonderful buffet breakfast with gracious service; tables on outdoor patio and portal next to beautifully kept grassy lawn shaded by cottonwood trees, mountain view peeking through. Horseshoe, frisbee, beanbag throwing set-ups on the grass. BBQ area. Pool and jacuzzi. Spacious room, comfortable beds! balcony for reading, drinking tea. Fridge, microwave. Delicious water! Simple, basic, clean rooms. Helpful staff.

This is a great choice for guests traveling with a dog. The staff is very nice and the rooms are large. The breakfast was good, though not ‘rave-worthy’. We would stay again.

We’ve stayed here almost every year for 20 years. Each stay is excellent. Clean rooms, comfy, fluffy beds, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and reception. Can’t recommend this place enough! It’s the only place to stay in Taos! Great for couples, families, pets, everyone!!

Beautiful, old New Mexican style Adobe/Pueblo motel, well maintained, with full hot, breakfast buffet, which we ate on the outside veranda in a gorgeous garden area. Want to return there someday to spend more time in the Taos area!

Do Not Judge a Book By Its Cover...it also applies to this Wonderful Hotel. Did Not Look Like Much. But, once in it's Very Comfy, Clean and Has a Wonderful Garden. The Breakfast is Way More than just Yogurt and Cereal. It is a Full Breakfast with Authentic New Mexican Cuisine. You can enjoy your Breakfast at the outside Garden Area. Highly Recommend this Hotel. We stayed at an awkward time when the roads required us to circle the neighborhood in a one way loop every time we came or went. Also, it’s a few months since we stayed. With those caveats in mind, I would still recommend the place. Warm cookies in the afternoon/evening. Pretty good hot breakfast in the morning. Rooms have an entrance/exit patio on both front and back sides, which was nice. The “back” patio (shared 2nd floor balcony in our case) looked out over the grassy quad. I can’t remember if there was a pool; maybe it was the off season.
