Very nice stay..Suites are in a converted convent so there are steps and gardens to navigate. The attached restaurant is fantastic.

What a wonderful place to stay. The staff were all lovely and Loris was especially helpful. Message in advance for instructions if you are driving - it’s simple enough but you need the instructions of where to bring your car. Paying for the hotel to take the car and park it was a great choice. Our suite was lovely and being so well located by the gates to the old town was just perfect

A magical place. Truly a highlight in our trip. From the friendly and helpful staff to the mesmerizing garden setting this could not disappoint. We had a wonderful stay and will return ourselves as well as recommend to others (3 nights in March 2020)

Amazing B&B, very updated, stylish and clean. Room was beautiful with a great terrace and sitting area. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was great and scenery was beautiful. Would love to stay here again.

Cute property, right in the middle of taormina, pretty close to bars, restaurants and every attraction the city is known for. I didn't care for the room ( you can smell cigarettes from outside, from the restaurant patio and the shower is located in the middle of the room, soaking up floors). Loris the manager?was absolutely fantastic.

We have been lucky enough to stay in many fabulous hotels. I would certainly recommend the Medousa to my friends & family. Superb position to explore this beautiful town. The staff/friends went the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for them and Loris our contact made sure we had all the information we needed and also his personal cell phone for any questions once he had left the hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and fresh and all set in this amazing historic building built into the city wall. The bistro dinner we had at the hotel was delicious and the ambience perfect. We will most certainly revisit Medusa in the future if we are able to come back to Taormina.

Brilliant heaven of peace in a beautiful setting close to parking lot very comfortable beds, large coffee machine lovely terrace with grapefruit and oranges what more could you want And helpful host! Perfect highly recommend

Excellent in all regards from the initial welcome to the property through to the quality of the room and fittings. The room opened up to a small courtyard with a grapefruit tree and a mandarin tree.

Comfortable hotel in perfect location
This is a very comfortable and intimate hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. It's just outside the Taormina gate, with access to everything that Taormina has to offer literally just steps from your room. You can also see Mt. Etna from the terrace outside the rooms, which is a pretty amazing view to wake up to. The restaurant downstairs is delicious (although a bit pricy), and there are some really good restaurants close by.

Fabulous boutique hotel
From the moment you arrive the experience is "special". The hotel is perfectly located at one end of Corso Umberto, so the perfect place to start your exploration of this wonderful little hilltop town. We were greeted by Thomas, who runs the hotel and is a warm and accommodating host. He helped us with our car parking and then showed us to our suites, both of which were stylish with very high-quality fittings, but very comfortable too. We dined in the bistrot on our first evening and were not disappointed. Again, quality and service was optimal. I'd find it very hard to find fault in anything about this hotel. In fact, I can't. Highly recommended. We will be back again. As soon as possible.

Hidden gem a stones throw from high street
One of the best hotels I've stayed at anywhere. You'll assume its too good to be true from the photos and be pleasantly surprised when you arrive, a truly idyllic setup. Very good staff didn't hurt. Thomas was a great host. Definitely try the bistrot if you can food there is wonderful.

I absolutely adore this place, because it is really taken care off and the rooms are exceptionally clean! Which I really appreciate. They have an extraordinary comfortable bed and the size of the room just right. Worth every penny you spent.

Hôtel rénové avec goût à proximité immédiate de la porte de Catane et des remparts. Belle vue sur l’Etna depuis la terrasse. Pas de petit déjeuner à l’hôtel mais possibilité de faire du café ou du thé dans la chambre.

I highly recommend it!
Excellent hotel in a very spectacular location, in the historic center of High Taormina, right across from the main street with restaurants and stores. The hotel is brand new, nicely decorated with very confortable accommodations! The owner greeted us at the door, and was helpful in suggesting tours and sights to see. The hotel also offers a superb restaurant, one of the best of the area. If you are driving into town, the hotel offers a private parking that costs 25euros a night, which is very welcome, for it is not easy to find parking in Taormina. I highly recommend Medousa Bistrot.
