Lovely classic hotel with amazing views and a stunning pool area. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Rooms are well decorated and very comfortable. Had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent. I especially recommend the rack of lamb.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The hotel was updated, immaculately clean- every meal at the restaurant was top rate and delicious even the breakfast which was included. The views are unmatched… the cocktails at the bar were fun and different and really good.. The new pool was beautiful and relaxing… The concierge booked us an amazing cooking class (last minute due to us not planning ahead) and a beach club visit (also last minute) and all the transportation we needed … both were highlights of the trip we also used the shuttle service alot and it was prompt and terrific. I would go back in a heartbeat!! Love this hotel.

Villa Ducale’s staff deserve TEN stars. From reception to the waiters and shuttle drivers, everyone went above and beyond. They handled our reservations and every request with warmth and care. The service was exceptional. The setting and views are beautiful, the infinity pool lovely, breakfast excellent, and the restaurant food we enjoyed through room service was delicious. However, at approximately CAD $1,100 per night, our accommodation fell short. Our suite was in a separate building across the street. It’s only a short crossing, but this should have been made clearer when booking, as breakfast, the bar and hotel facilities are in the main building. The suite was spacious, with a living room, large bathroom, separate bedroom and a pleasant rear view. Unfortunately, the street-facing side had poor sound insulation: traffic, barking dogs, morning deliveries and bottles being collected were all clearly audible. This level of noise is unacceptable for a luxury stay at this price. The room also looked tired, with walls needing repainting and some general TLC. I can only speak for our suite; rooms in the main building may differ. Two nights were manageable, but I would not spend a week in that room. Better soundproofing, maintenance and clearer booking information would make a real difference. The staff delivered ten-star hospitality; the accommodation needs to match.

We stayed for our honeymoon and loved the view. But unfortunately the first room we were placed in had a funky smell and after a few days of it not going away my wife was getting a headache and we also noticed there was mold on the walls of the bathroom and peeling wall paper with some water damage. We asked to move rooms and were placed in a new room and that shower also had a leak that left the floor towel soaked after each shower. We did have attentive staff when we asked for help. The best part was the view and eating breakfast with the help of Max, he was great and remembered that I needed gluten free options and would bring them each day when he saw us. We would have loved the place overall but had no luck speaking with the manager about the sub par room and didn’t receive any compensation.

Great views and excellent service meant we had a really pleasant stay. You are treated like family which is lovely, Breakfast was a good already and the evening restaurant is super with views to match. A shuttle service into the town was a bonus and used everyday.
