Convenient location, simple but nice room, friendly and helpful staff. They one slight downside of the central location was that my room overlooked a rather well trafficked road, which was quite load late into the night. Overall, great stay though.

The hotel was a 2 star, however, it was expensive to that category. The AC could not be controlled, the only option was on/off, and it was too cold and noisy. The bathroom was not clean, the shower had an old and dirty curtain that did not stop the water, and as the bathroom was tiny, there was always the danger of slipping. With all that, the staff was very nice and helpful. The only mirror in the room was covered by a TV.

Nice hotel in a good location. The staff were delightful and very helpful. Convenient for walking to the town centre, and for the cable car. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money.

The people were very nice and helpful and we enjoyed the view on the water from our balcony. The hotel was a little hard to find when first arrived. We found that having to leave the room key at the front desk, every time we went out, was very convenient. We didn't need use two keys (wife and I) and didn't have to carry those big keys in our pockets all day.

Helpful staff, comfortable room
Staff were very communicative and responsive prior to check-in. They also had some free parking a short distance away, although I understand this is first come first serve. Location very good. Nice comfortable room with a small balcony. Recommend.

What a fantastic stay I had at this beautiful hotel. The staff was so kind and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and the view was absolutely perfect. Room 306 has the best view of the sunrise. I highly recommend when visiting Taormina to stay here!!! Until next time my friends :)

What a GREAT place! First, the location: if you are lucky, your room will be facing North - and with your own private balcony, you could easily spend a month there looking at the view! It's fabulous! Also, it's within a 5-minute walk from the "gate" (literally) of town, very convenient without being "in the tourist crowd". Then the service: a warm welcome, anything to help me with parking or what to do in town, hikes to take, the tram to go to the sea... All with huge smiles! The room and the bathroom are a bit non-descript (very clean) but if you balance that with the view and the location, who cares!! Breakfast is in a room behind the reception - many choices, savory or sweet. The coffee (cappuccino for me!) is the best! WiFi, no problem (a must for me). Parking nearby. Loved the place, only wished that I had stayed 2 or 3 more days, there is so much to do there between visiting, and hiking, and swimming in the sea (yes, in October!)

Good location near main sites but next to petrol station. Good oblique view of the bay/coast. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. Parking on street. Rooms and general hotel dated however, noisy between rooms and furniture/rooms and dining space need a bit of updating.

Mishap at what should have been a good stay.
Location is great. Hotel was fine. Hot water broke for the two days we stayed. Owner was gracious enough to refund some money for the discomfort, after we asked. Breakfast was good.

Good value single room for Taormina. Nice bathroom and balcony. Good breakfast. Near cable car to beach. 5 mins walk uphill to main town but beware traffic.

I loved the location and the staff, they were very helpful, breakfast was very good and the attention was also great. The hotel is close to funicular and downtown, they can aloso arrange for you to go to another beach and provide transportation when you go to that beach were they have a daily pass. My only disappointment was that the bathroom did not have a separate shower, it was defined by a curtain and water going to floor to a drain. Also the mattress was poor quality and the springs were old. Once they relace the mattresses I am sure the experience there will be better.

Simple but great hotel
This was the second time I stayed in this hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The reception area is open 24/24 so if you need anything there is always someone there to help. We left the hotel at 5:30 a.m. and they gave us breakfast even at that hour. It's a very simple hotel but perfect for people who want a clean room to sleep in after sightseeing in Sicily all day. The breakfast was good. I would stay there again on my next trip to Taormina.

Best location if you have a car; it’s close to town but before you get caught in traffic messes. Discount at Lumbi parking lot, where you can get free shuttle into town. Eva will sit down with you with map of Taormina and tell you how to get around this awesome city. Room was large and clean. Excellent breakfast.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel itself is very basic and was noisy both from road traffic and internally e.g. water systems. Our friends room shower was blocked and even after clearing drainage was very slow. The breakfast provided was, like the hotel, very basic. In reality there are no parking facilities but they have an arrangement with the multi-storey car park 5 minutes walk away although at an €8/day charge. Accessing anywhere requires a walk up a comparatively steep hill so not a good location for anyone infirmed.

Amazing breakfast and extremely kind staff
The hotel is very convenient to see the town by foot. It is a 5 min walk to the center and 15 min walk to the beach (then you can go upstairs by the cable cars). They also have free parking or if you want there is also a paid one very near by (low price -8 euro per day with free shuttle to the town). The rooms are basic but has all you need for a budget hotel (we had 1 night stay). On the other side the breakfast and the staff are really amazing. The breakfast is absolutely gorges, there is really everything from sweets to fried eggs, yogurt, fruits and squeezed orange juice. They have really warm welcoming (with water, coffee or juice if you want), explain you everything you should do (with a map), where to go, where to eat for better price etc. Every advice they gave us was worth it. The owner even let me to use his lap top to print the boarding passes. Really, really nice people. I definitely recommend the hotel (if you don't expect much for the room) and warming thanks to all.

Superb and Magnificent Hospitality .. Great hotel
Great place to stay. The hospitalitt superb. Breakfast magnificent. Eva was the best human being that Imet. Her father a great guy. Definely I will be back because of their warmth and hospitality. Hotel Natalina is situated within walking distance to the main street in Taormina so it is convenient to shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfasts were excellent. We had a car and they helped arrange parking.

Good budget option in a fancy town
It's hard to rate this hotel, because Taormina is so different to a lot of Sicily. The same money elsewhere would get you something really nice, but in Taormina you only get 2 stars. That said it's a good two star hotel, the staff were really nice and the location was great - a short stroll up to the Main Street and 20mins walk to/from the beach (for the fit)! Breakfast was also surprisingly good.

Staff was amazing. The took the time to explain exactly how to get around the city, best place to visit, and local events going on all over a coffee. The hotel seems to be family run an provides basic amenities. Morning breakfast was wonderful along with the service. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is clean & in a good location. The rooms could use a little modernising but that's not a problem to us as they've were clean & well located. The best thing about the hotel was the young lady at reception, so helpful friendly & enthusiastic! Also the breakfast was nice & cofee good!

more than adequate place to stay---safe location---just below the old city---and near the funicular/incline to the sea and city at sea level---excellent location very near the bus terminal where most tours begin Mt Etna---Aeolian Islands---it's run by a family who are children and grandchildren of Natalina!!!

Highly recommend for simple traveler
The hotel had everything we needed, clean room and private shower. If you need just a place to sleep and explore the surrounding area it is perfect. The bathroom needs some refreshment: new paint and re-grout. Breakfast is excellent. Location perfect. Taormina beautiful. Mount Etna gorgeous. Parking free.

Having paid €59 per-night I was VERY disappointed that my room had a very uncomfortable camp bed to sleep on! I ended up proping up the camp bed against the wall & sleeping with the mattress on the floor! For that expensive price? VERY DISOPINTING! (Breakfast was ok)

Very nice family hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had spectacular views over the sea and the town with a nice little balcony. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The price was very good considering how expensive Taormina is compared to other places in Sicily and for what you get. The only downside is that the wifi does not reach the rooms on the third floor so that made things a little inconvenient.

Very pleasant people, always ready to help and do extra for you. Amenities could be better, say, a kettle in the rooms would be a great addition. Central ac/heating works weirdly and can be potentially a problem. But overall we enjoyed our stay and felt like home. It is not often when you meet such welcoming service. Taking into account that the price is very reasonable especially compared with other hotels in the neighborhood I do highly recommend Hotel Natalina.

Great staff,great breakfast,now the not so great: room with a sea view overlooked a garage open from 8am-9pm,and the gas pumps open all night.Very,very noisy all night,with window open,because the air conditioner didn't work so well.Room not so clean.Not worth what we paid.Shame because Enzo,Eva,and rest of staff are the best.

Great hotel, perfect location!!
This hotel is just walking distance to the historic centre and hotel staff can arrange a day at the beach all inclusive for just €8!! It's very tricky to move around Taormina because it's a mountain town so this service is very convenient!! Rooms are very clean, comfy and air con is a god sent!! Staff is very friendly and helpful as well, will definitely stay here again!!

A wonderful place
Hotel Natalina is a wonderful hotel in a lovely town. The staff are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to help their guests. When we arrive we were greeted warmly and then the young lady at the desk fixed us a coffee and a plate of tasty Sicilian pastries. The room had a small balcony and an air conditioner. The room had a blocked view of the Mediterranean. We were about a five minute walk to the historical district of Taormina and about a 20 minute walk to the beach. The breakfast buffet at Hotel Natalina was tasty and ample. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Taormina.

We spent 4 nights here in April 2014. We enjoyed visiting Taormina and Etna from here. It is a small hotel with very helpful owners and staff who will offer advice in good English. We got good advice about where (and when) to see the events in Taormina and best routes to drive on to get to our destinations. Although the allocated three road parking spaces were never available when we wanted to park, we had no problems parking overnight in the 'residents only' road just down from the hotel as advised by the staff. There is a bit of noise from the road, but I suspect that is inevitable in a small town like this. The breakfasts were very good! Individually served coffees; freshly cooked omelette; delicious ham and cheese. The room did not have a fridge, but we got ice from the kitchen/bar when we got back in the evenings. The only real problem was with the bathroom. Even once the faulty shower had been rapidly fixed, the bathroom was basic and had been rather poorly designed - the shower was a removable base and curtain right in front of the wash basin and towel rail! But everything was clean and functional. The room had a safe and modern TV - although we didn't find any English channels on it.
