These people spoke Italian for the most part. I really like it here. the breakfast had homemade pastries and food that was exceptional as if you got it from the bakery. the variety of juices and types of milk and food was exceptional, especially at this price point. Right before we left we did have a toilet leak but it was when we were leaving, so it did not affect our time there. I definitely would recommend and return there.

Our hostess Paola was very accommodating and gave us many suggestions for anything we asked. The lavender room was very pleasant and relaxing. The bed however was too hard for me. The highlight is the amazing breakfast that Paolaakes from scratch and with love. Every type of italian dolce you can think of is on the table. It was heaven! Grazie Paola!

The location is a little remote but the B&B was very good. We had a large room with furnished kitchenette which was very helpful as eating on Siciliano time can be difficult.

As with any out-of-the-way B&B it was tricky finding the place, but expected. Room was acceptable, spacious. A/C available, thankfully. Sicily was getting hot when we were there. A shared kitchen was included but we only used the refrigerator. Breakfast was acceptable. Really like that hard boiled eggs were supplied as well as the usual yogurt and bread.

Sicily in Love offers basic but spacious and clean accommodation. We booked a room with a double and two singles - the room was clean and ready for us upon arrival and despite the owner not speaking much English (and us little Italian), everything was friendly and we were sorted out promptly. The beds were a little hard but that’s really personal taste. The local area is not particularly interesting but a good base to drive on up to Mt Etna or are nearby Taormina. Breakfast in the morning was great. Cereals, tea, coffee, toast, pastries, ham, cheese, yoghurts and, best of all, the owners home baked cake which was delicious! (Who doesn’t honestly want cake with their breakfast?) Overall a pleasing stay and great value for money.

A treasure in the mountains.
The B&B is very nice and if you are traveling with a car will be great to have a parking place. If you are going for a short time to Taormina know that this is very far from the important places . If you want to experience the life in a nice small town in Sicilia and even cook your dinner this is a treasure. You will find fridge stove plates everything. The owner is awesome and ready to help with everything.Also you have a private patio to enjoy the stars and smells. The breakfast is very good specially the cakes and the nice place where they serve it.

The owner and her daughter were so great. They helped us with suggestions for parking in Taormina, find a self-service laundry, and where to find a charging cord for an iPhone. The breakfast was good too.

Really nice place, close to town , good breakfast , secure parking, clean rooms with sitting areas, Taormina and Etna are close, as is ferry to Reggia Calabria. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Paola!!! We had an amazing time at Paola’s B and B Sicily in love. It was a lovely clean room and bathroom. It’s about 15 min outside of Taormina. You need a car to get to this B and B but it’s worth it. In order to get into the center of Taormina you have to go up the mountain and there are several hairpin turns, people park wherever they want to and parking is impossible and or very expensive. I also felt a little trapped when on top of Taormina so staying here was much better for us. Paola had ample parking for all the rooms at the B and B for free. The driveway is steep but you can drive down and turn around so there’s no problem. Each morning she made us a delicious breakfast including a zucchini frittata, homemade marmalades, coffee, juice, yogurt and homemade orange cake. Breakfast is served in a cute little enclosed outdoor area, it was chilly in the morning and she had an outdoor heater, which was most appreciated. We communicated mostly in Italian with the help of google translate. She is very kind and pleasant. Our rooms were serviced each day, fresh new towels and soaps given. The shared kitchen was stocked with pots pans fridge freezer utensils dishes etc. Outside the downstairs rooms there is a cute outdoor seating area with a view of Mt. Etna. There is a grocery store near by and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Paola can book Godfather and Etna Tours. Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing B and B...Highly Recommend
We loved this b and b. You will need a hire car as its out of the way from the main tourist areas and not in Taormina but around 15 mins drive away and 6 minutes down to the beach at Giardini Naxios with its bars and cafes. Sicily in Love is just a few minutes from the motorway so easy to get to and to get around. At the bottom of the hill are local shops and pizza places. If you need to buy an Italian adaptor (they are different to the EU ones), then the ARD supermarket sells them for a couple of euro. We didn't have one but Paula, the lovely owner, lent us one. In hindsight we should have bought a couple which would have stopped the daily fight to charge devices..Now to the apartment itself - we had a one bedroom plus living room with sofa bed and kitchenette. The wifi was excellent which made my teenager very happy (and gave me a little peace after dragging him around the sites all day)..TV was large and had cable channels (only English is the usual news channels plus horse TV - who knew?)..the beds were large and comfortable and the rooms were large and modern with a/c and heating units in each room. Breakfast was typical continental with a lot on offer and the personal touch of Paula...The local area was a little noisy but this is Sicily after all. There is secure parking on site. All in all, a lovely B and B and, for the price, is highly recommended.

The landlady is a very smart business woman but I would caution visitors to avoid her recommendations and not buy tickets from her. She is honest but also interested in making extra money off you, not always to your benefit.

Great little B&B, in a quiet part of the world.
With a car, this is a wonderful little place to stay near Taormina, if you enjoy peace and quiet and want to take advantage of a real, and quiet, (non-touristy) Sicilian town. Do not stay here without a car because there really isn't anything to see or do nearby, and the buses are not very practicable. 40 minute drive to Mount Etna, 20 minute drive to Taormina centre, and maybe 35 minutes to Catania. (Times are quick ball-park estimates). The host is fantastic, albeit very little English is spoken. Again, this can be a positive if you are looking to practice your Italian or want a real Italian experience. Breakfast is good and has all the necessary offerings. Parking is free, on site, behind a locked gate. Be warned, the decor is very kitch, but the rooms are large and have everything needed for cooking yourself a nice Italian meal (plenty of little botegas nearby)

The B&B was outside of Taormina in a residential area with nothing of much interest close by. It is a good place to stop before or after visiting Taormina. It's run by a very nice lady who uses a translator to communicate in English. Breakfast like many in Sicily has lots of sweet items but was fine. Nice large room, comfy bed, small shower.

One of the best B&B I've stayed in. The host was very helpful even though we had to use a translator to speak to one another. It is off the beaten path so would be difficult to get to without the use of a car. Down the hill is an amazing chicken roastery place that I highly recommend. Easy access to nearby tourist locations and all together I'd highly recommend. Modern accommodations and well worth the costs.

the room was supper clean, neat and spacious, with a good size kitchen(share with other tenant) good breakfast with all of the variety other hotel has, the owner prepare the breakfast for each group, so we had warm pastry and bread in the kitchen since that morning was cold for us to have breakfast in the yard, would be better if we can have it outside, the owner was very friendly and helpful, she helped us called the next hotel we were going to stay,make them aware we are arrive late, price was reasonable, like this one, strong recommend it

It took a minute to find but the staff even though they couldn't speak English they let us keep our bag in the room before it was ready. Very friendly staff. The room had private garden area that was so cozy and romantic. At breakfast you can see Mt Etna! Great place!
