5/5 Excellent
"Its a great hotel to stay at if one is working in Haining or Jiaxing. One can even cover Hangzhou from Haibing's Pulman. All facilities are good. Breakfast is excellent . Hotel had a nice number of foreign visitors which is a good recommendation in itself.
i will stay here again."

2/5 Poor
"The room has a musky and moldy bad smell. TV was not working properly. Did mention to staff about the smell, they offered 2 other rooms and all were equally smelly. Took one that I thought smell the least but turns out the whole night it just got worst. Sheets were very moist, so uncomfortable and smelly. Couldn’t sleep as I had hard time breathing, the smell was just so bad. Had diarrhea after dining at the only restaurant available there. Saw cockroach in the room. For alila standard, this is probably the worst experience ever. It shouldn’t been rated 4/5 star hotel. Probably 1 star
Request for check out the next day. Had to scram to look for another hotel elsewhere. Staff was going to charge me full price including the meal had I not raise concern. They didn’t seem to understand English much. They did waive off the meal in the end and did gave me some discount on the room. I asked the staff to arrange transport for me to other hotel, they did but they made me pay for the transport even though I had to leave because of the poor hotel condition.
I had hard time trying to book another hotel as I’m not familiar with the city, the driver was kind enough to help me and drove me to another hotel where I could instantly book a room on the spot which cost half of what alila was charging and condition of the room was much better with no smell in the room.
