"The hotel was perfect for an overnight pre cruise. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. There’s a couple restaurants near by that you can walk to, but really nothing else in the area. The room was clean and beds were comfortable."

"There was a bit of a smell in the room that you can get used to. The cupboards are many and all empty. They sell packages of plates and cutlery or cooking untensils to use. The TV didn't have a remote and the first one they gave us didn't have working batteries. Its on a very busy road but 6 blocks away there are 2 good restaurants and a plaza with a CVS and a TJ Maxx and a thrift store,Golden Corral and Niki's Omelet and Grill were worth the walk. 2 and a half stars is a bit generous considering the cost at $800+ (CAD) for 2 nights.. Other hotels were charging more for the last minute March break customers but they might have been worth it."

"So many issues with our room, most importantly the main door that wouldn't lock and would allow anyone to walk in without a key. Room in general and mattress were very dirty, lights didn't work, etc. Staff seemed to not be very motivated to get the items remedied. Hilton Honors text concierge was pretty unresponsive for most of the stay. Wife was very disappointed and stated we won't be staying at Hilton DoubleTree properties in the future."
