Luxurious homely mountain cottage.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Beautiful little cottage, very homely with everything you need. Amazing breakfast food provided. Complimentary bottle of wine. 2 free wine tastings at Witches Falls winery which was so nice coz the weather was perfect. Will definitely recommend this place to all our friends and also will return.

I took myself away for the weekend. It was everything I wanted - quiet, double spa, fire place, great food, great service. I also lashed out on a 2hr Serenity Package at the day spa. Absolute bliss! The weekend was perfect. Highly recommended

I was disappointed that the accommodation was away from the carpark which meant had to go back and forth many trips over rocks with luggage. The kitchen facilities were crowded. The bath tub/shower was deep and a small seat was provided to 'climb into' the shower. Always felt like I was able to have a fall. There was no netflix and there were options to access dvd's from reception, but not ideal. There was no view. On the positive side the ambience was charming and decore nostalgic. The baked breads were divine.

Great atmosphere around the place. The lodge we stayed in was clean. Friendly staff. And we took advantage of the day spa which was awesome. It had a nice relaxing feel to it.

The cutest little village with each dwelling unique and charming. Lovely gardens and three adorable guinea fowl who love to hang out with the cats on the parking area.

What a great way to spend a winter wedding anniversary. Cosy open fire, beautiful surroundings, red sunset just a minute walk away. Plenty to do close by. Awesome.

Beautiful romantic cottages in picturesque gardens

We went for a long weekend on a visit from Brisbane. Despite it being just over a one hour drive we felt we were a million miles away! Very relaxing, some tame Lorikeets in the garden that kept us amused. Great place to stay with a cosy fire and easy access to wineries. Wonderful relaxing weekend away

Wilderness Wonderland

Lisson Grove is amazing, the scenery both in the resort itself, as well as close surrounding areas are magnificent and I can't wait to go back. We started our stay in the Abbey Cottage, however I personally found the bed too hard and couldn't sleep, so we got moved to the Gamekeepers Cottage, which had a much softer bed and was able to get a great night's sleep the last two nights. The Gamekeepers Cottage also is the only cottage with a veranda, which is handy if you happen to be a smoker, as it was quite a wet stay, as well as cold. Would recommend to anyone who likes the mountains, rainforests, cold weather etc.

The perfect getaway

Great hosts, comfy bed, beautiful surroundings and quiet which is what you want when you want to escape the everyday chaos. We stayed in The Abbey which was very nicely decorated & Oh so comfortable. The supplied breakfast plate was ample & delicious plus we had freshly baked bread, with an assortment of spreads, and freshly squeezed orange juice delivered to our cottage each morning. The hosts & their staff were always friendly & accommodating, we couldn't fault the place even if we tried. Honestly, stay here & you can't go wrong.
