10 min taxi to main town for meals. Hotel restaurant vegetarian only and requires booking for dinner. No air conditioner as it is an EcoVillage, be warned, it is hot and sticky in the Amazon. Pool was excellent. Monkeys and sloths in the trees on property.

Firstly the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, most spoke good English. The rooms were very comfortable and relaxing, however you may need to be prepared for a cold shower. The food was brilliant, all made on site and very well priced. I would recommend to anyone needing a quiet escape from a busy holiday.

Anthony was fantastic! He makes all the meals from local ingredients. Everything he makes is vegetarian and even as a non vegetarian, it's the best food in town. Everyone was friendly and had great tips. Cannot recommend highly enough!

The staff, expecially Jeanpierre, were extremely friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and the facilities are modern, especially compared to the lodges in the area. The restaurant is excellent and I looked forward to each meal there. - there was construction going on very close to my room every day I was there, so it wasn't entirely peaceful. It was hard to book tours through the hotel as a solo traveller, however this is going to be an issue anywhere in PM. Jeanpierre eventually made all the tours I wanted happen, but I didn't know what tour I would be on each day until the night before.

Such a wonderful eco-friendly place. We were hosted warmly by Andrea and Gabriel and felt home the entire time. They sent a taxi for us at the airport and upon arrival we were welcomed with fresh juice. The environment of the property is very relaxing, and it feels like you are in the wilderness, and also they have a great chef. Moreover, they have a great connection with one of the local tour guides and set us up for the tours we were interested in. Unless you are interested in buying a package where all the activities are included, I definitely recommend staying in Kapievi. Specially, this way you get to relax and choose the activities of interest yourself. We thank the amazing team, and would definitely visit again!

A jewel in the jungle

Beautiful place with friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food. Clean and comfortable. The doors only lock from the outside and the windows don’t seal all the way, so expect some visitors - but that is to be expected the jungle so it wasn’t a surprise! The location is down a bumpy dirt road seemingly in the middle of nowhere, but that adds to the magic. Highly recommend!

Wonderful eco lodge with personality

We had a wonderful 1 night stay at the eco lodge. The lodge is warm and we were taken very good care of by the owner from the second we arrived. An impressive place built from the bottom up by the young owner Anthony. Breakfast was great and we also had dinner, which was one of our best meals in Peru! We Can highly recommend this place for a stop over before or after going to the Amazon.
