「Everything about our stay was great but the staff was INCREDIBLE. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to be helpful. We needed to move rooms the first night quite late and John was very helpful and got everything sorted quickly. 「The Villa De 1945 is a beautiful building. Rooms are spacious and clean. Wifi is good. The location is central - close to the river walkway. I did find the receptionist when I checked not particularly welcoming but staff overall were friendly and helpful. This seems to be a hotel that caters primarily for Indian guests rather than foreigners. That is understandable as Mahe is not a common tourist destination. 」
