Das Hotel ist sauber, die Mitarbeiter außerordentlich freundlich. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, der Strand war herrlich, am Morgen hatte man ihn fast ganz für sich alleine. Die Frühstücksauswahl (auch die Getränke) waren hervorragend. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es ausreichend und gute Restaurants.Der vordere Pool war sehr schön ruhig, man konnte herrlich entspannen. An dem Pool in Strandnähe liegt die Poolbar und dort ist mehr los. Wir kommen wieder.

Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Zimmer sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Der Standard entsprach allerdings eher einem vier Sterne Hotel. Die Anzahl der Liegen am Pool und am Strand war begrenzt, was zu umfangreichen „Reservierungen“ von Liegen geführt hat, die dann oft stundenlang nicht genutzt waren. Das Hotel hat zwar eine Policy, die Liegenreservierungen verbietet, diese wird aber nicht umgesetzt. Uns hat das nicht gefallen.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Grand Mercure Hotel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Poolzugang. Das Zimmer war top, alles sehr geräumig und sauber. Der Frühstücksraum war etwas sehrhektisch, wenn man nicht früh oder später kam. Leider gab es nur zwei Kaffeevollautomaten, welche nicht ausreichten für alle Gäste, da diese äußert langsam funktioniert haben. Oft stand man gut 10 Minuten an. Hier besteht Verbesserungsbedarf. Ansonsten gibt es unserseits keine negativen Erfahrungen. Das Essen im Hotel schmeckte sehr gut, war aber definitiv teurer als draußen. Wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Kleines Manko noch: Leider gibt es immer wieder Gäste (meist Osteuropäer), welche sehr laut sind. Das kann einem schon den Urlaub verderben.

Hotelanlage in sehr ruhiger Umgebung, gut zum Entspannen jedoch abgelegen vom Schuss. Wer einen Entspannungsurlaub plant, ist hier genau richtig. Es gibt in der näheren Umgebung mehrere Restaurants, die allesamt gut waren. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal nett und bereit, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen.

Ingesamt sehr schöne anlage, toller strand und sehr gute möglichkeiten zb am strand preislich gut zu essen. Auch die Restaurants im resort sind akzeptabel. Sehr nette angestellte und stets bemüht. Definitiv zu empfehlen, aber: das hotel möchte in der obersten liga spielen, ist dort auch preislich angesetzt, daür passen dann doch ein paar dinge nicht: frühstück überlaufen, man tritt sich auf die Füße: Empfehlung 2. Büffet im green mango. Sicherlich aufwändiger aber bei solchen preisen (350 die nacht aufwärts) darf sowas morgends nicht sein. 2. Mango: einfach zu wenig liegen am strand und pool: min 2x vorgekommen dass wir als familie mit 2 kindern gegen 10 vor sind und nirgends einen platz fanden. Dann an einem Tag keine handtücher mehr vorhanden... am nächsten wurde rationiert und es wurde gefragt warum ich denn jetzt schon wieder welche bräuchte (auf zimmernummer wurde notiert). Sowas darf in einem 4+ resort einfach nicht vorkommen. Nachbessern, dann klare Empfehlung!

Rummen är trevliga och känns fräscha och rena. Hotellet ligger på en smal och lång tomt så det definierar hela strukturen. Det tycker jag gör att det känns lite trångt, men rent estetiskt ser det väldigt fint ut. All personal var trevlig och serviceminded. Vi åt lunch en dag på hotellet i strandrestaurangen Green Mango, men det är inget jag kan rekommendera. Det var dyrt, snålt och smakade tyvärr väldigt mediokert. Poolen är trevlig och ren men ganska liten. Havet och stranden är vacker men du behöver strandskor pga all korall i vattenbrynet.

Everything was fantastic. Swim up room was incredible. Agree with other reviews about the hotel restaurant being pricey compared to restaurants less than a 5 min walk down the beach (with better quality food!). Would definitely stay here again if we returned to Thailand.

Das Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak ist ein wunderschönes, gepflegtes Hotel zu einem sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis (in der Nebensaison!) Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und wurden jederzeit sehr zuvorkommend und höflich bedient. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist gigantisch und hat die Note hervorragend verdient. Wir können das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Einziges Manko: Das Meer ist in Bangsak in der Regenzeit sehr wild und man kann kaum baden.

Great stay

Breakfast very good, variety and length of service was great. Rooms large and comfy beds. 2 pools one with swim up bar. Private beach and warm sea to swim in. Staff very polite and helpful. Car park with limited spaces, but security is there 24 hours so no problem parking on the front of the hotel A very enjoyable stay, wish we booked longer than 4 nights. Close to waterfalls, temples, and tsunami museum.
