"I have visited Taitung twice in the past year and both times I stayed at the Fish Hotel. The downtown location is unbeatable and the hotel has its own parking lot across the street, solving the parking question. The staff greets everyone who enters the lobby and communicated the check-in information clearly. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and both times I've had a good view of the city."

"Nothing special, but the room was clean and pretty large, although the window was fake. Ask for a room woth window. Breakfast was meh"

"Listing pictures do not represent the look, facilities or condition of this hotel at all. Hotel is quite old, not exactly dirty but wouldn't describe it as clean either. Location is ok, about 10 minutes from the train station by Taxi and 10 minutes from the beach by bike. Friendly staff and no charge use of hotel bicycles as a guest."
